Not only is everyone I've met here so incredibly nice but my skin looks really great!!!

I am only a few days away from my wedding but I wanted to treat myself to a massage and a gentle facial. I know its not recommended to do any new treatments so close to the wedding but I figured I could do something gentle and moisturizing.

I was originally considering the glow and go, but ended up doing the hydro oxygenating facial at the recommendation of the technician.

I came out looking like I had Korean glass skin for the first time in my life!! Even the very lovely woman at the front desk exclaimed how shiny I looked hahaha!

I was worried that maybe the next day I would have some breaking out, but my skin still looks shiny and feels very smooth.

The place is very clean and the interior is decorated well. I had no idea such an oasis existed in Astoria!

Massage was good too. Not particularly outstanding. I wish the walls were just a bit thicker to dull down some of the noises from other rooms. But other than that, I felt very relaxed afterwards.

I came with my girlfriend to this spa for a couples massage after receiving a gift card for this place. We originally had scheduled the appointment online for Saturday at 6:00PM. We then got a call the next day stating that couple massages do not get done on Saturdays and they had to schedule us for M-F. We told the person who called us that we get out of work at 5:45 and could not get there until after 6:10 and they scheduled us for the next day at 6:15PM claiming that coming later would be no problem. We showed up at 6:22 on 8/22 and they would not give us the hour couples massage we had booked and said they had to reschedule us. The front desk receptionists were rude and disrespectful. They gave us attitude saying that we should up at 6:30 and either way we should have showed up 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment to fill out a form. The customer service was terrible, I felt so disrespected and said forget the massage. I would not recommend this...

I don't recommend this place for facials. I was left looking red, irritated, and with a tight feeling. My esthetician did not communicate with me what she was doing throughout the entire facial. The only time she said what she was doing was when she applied an enzyme peel and that it would tingle. She used a machine that was so irritating. I think it was used for extractions, but she could've given me a warning that it was cause discomfort. Her communication with me was strange in that she didn't really go into details what I needed and just simply said to come back for chemical peels and go see a doctor. She put something on my eyes that burned them when i got up. I had to take a paper towel and wipe off whatever that was. The only good thing about this place is that it is a beautiful spa with a calming environment. This is not enough to get me to come back.
