Pretzel-crusted Veal Chop Milanese❤️ • THE CHEF • "Sergeant First Class Thomas Janusz spent nearly 12 years in the U.S. Army and is a gentlemen who would do anything for anybody. As an Explosives Ordnance Disposal Team Leader in Afghanistan, Thomas was severely wounded, when an IED he was disarming exploded in his hands, leading to the loss of his left leg and left hand, along with numerous other injuries. His recovery lasted almost 2 years. So if you ask me, ‘Why Tom?, I say ‘Why not?’. . Six years ago I asked myself, how can I make something great and elevate a worthy cause. Every year since, we've given donations to one wounded warrior through @StockingsForACause . These men and women have given so much to us, they enable us to sit here and have a beer and live the lives we live. . We've modeled our donations around the holidays and ask our customers if they'd like to make a difference in someone's Christmas by donating for a good cause. In keeping with the holiday theme we write the name of our donors on Christmas stockings and hang them throughout Park Avenue Tavern and many other NYC bars/restaurants. Each stocking is only $20 but makes a lasting impact in the life of someone who's given so much. . I feel like this is one of the most amazing things that I’ve been able to be a part of in my life and it’s one of the things I am most proud of. Having the ability and freedom to excel in this country is beyond amazing and it's all due to the people that serve and protect our country, day in and day out. That’s why I want to give back. For me, the thrill of giving is so much more than the thrill of receiving." ~Eugene Brennan @GenoBrennan (Co-Owner...

A special shout-out to our hostess, Blaise, who went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. She was gracious, attentive, and truly made the evening memorable. From her warm greeting at the door to checking in throughout the meal with genuine care, Blaise made us feel like honored guests. Her hospitality set the tone for the entire experience.
And the food, absolutely incredible! Every bite was bursting with flavor, clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a lot of love. From the appetizers to the main course and dessert, everything was cooked to perfection. Just thinking about it now is making me hungry all over again!
What truly set this place apart, though, was the overall hospitality. It didn’t feel like just another night out, it felt like dining with family. The care, attention, and warmth we received made the experience unforgettable.
Elex is a good bartender, wait did I mention the music? Totally awesome! I live upstate New York, so unfortunately I can’t visit as often as I’d like, but I’m already looking forward to my next trip back. This is the kind of place you make special plans for. Five stars from me,...
Read moreBEWARE! THIEVES ABOUND! I had a drink at the bar yesterday and placed several small shopping bags on the hook in front of my seat. When I left, I accidentally forgot a bag. I realized it as soon as I got in my cab, but it was too late to turn around, so I called the number listed on the website. After the initial automated message, I spoke with Kathy and explained my situation. She told me she was not on-site but would call a manager to see if my bag was still on the hook. She put me on hold, then the call was cut. Since I never gave her my name or phone number, I tried about three times to call back. On the fouth attempt, I finally got a hold of someone else and left my info. After about two hours with no response, I tried to call again. On the eighth call, I came to the realization I was just being hung up on. Finally, my partner took over and his call was miraculously answered by Kathy. He explained the situation about the bag again, she put him on hold and then came back to say that the bag was gone. Considering this was now about five hours into the missing bag saga, we were not surprised. If PAT can't manage to promptly look for a missing bag, I have serious doubts about how they handle any of their...
