Paul Michael’s Brick Oven Cafe Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

I remember my mom usually buying me pizza from here whenever she worked as a school crossing guard for the school across the street. Whenever I was coming home from middle school, I would instead stop by her work spot and walk home with home just so I could get a slice of pizza and pepperoni pinwheel from here.

Years later, now a college graduate and job hunting, I found out the spot was still open and decided to take a trip down memory lane. The pizza and pepperoni pinwheel are still delicious and taste just the same as they did years back. Why three stars? The pizza is your standard pizza, just a little more herbs and flavoring than most others in the area but it doesn't truly stand out as much.

Those prices also really hiked up, or maybe I was probably unaware of how much their food cost all those years back. Not sure if I would buy delivery again with how well I tip delivery drivers knowing their struggle, but if I'm craving for that nostalgia again--I will pay twenty plus for a pizza with a pepperoni pinwheel and maybe a new item I'm looking to...

I have been eating in this area for the last two years. Let’s just say when I first came to the area everyone I met bragged about a pizza spot called “Dani’s Pizza” so I tried it & was not impressed by the taste or customer service so I gave Paul’s a chance...for starters the food at Paul’s is absolutely amazing...the tomato sauce is an authentic Italian recipe...any dish with it is a slam dunk! But the most impressive part is the guy who I believe is the owner...he’s always smiling & he’s ten times more friendly & appreciative compared to the experience I had at Dani’s pizza with Dani’s son...who was very arrogant & unfriendly on two different occasions. I say all that to say if you’re in Kew Garden’s Paul’s has unbeatable taste, quality & customer service. I wish I could give it more...

First time ordering and trying this place. I ordered delivery. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and provided nice service. This was during a pandemic in the midst of a snow storm so the timing to get it delivered is somewhat understandable. Took a little over an hour BUT it was hot 🔥. There was an issue with my order when it arrived but when I called back the same gentleman who took my order realized he'd made the mistake and sent me the correct dish in less than 30 min. Mistakes happen but how you recover makes allllll the difference and I greatly appreciate it. It was a bit pricey but you get alot for your money. I'll be back to try other items. The fettuccine Alfredo and margarita pizza was so delicious. The pasta was so flavorful and arrived...
