I had been here for the first time, earlier last year. I had ordered a hummus platter, Turkish Meatballs and a glass of Montepucciano d Abruzzo wine. This past week I went there again. I was to meet up with my sister, who had never been there. Last year I went on a Wednesday afternoon, it wasn't crowded at all. I totally enjoyed the food that I ordered. I highly recommend their hummus platter with red pepper. I also enjoyed their roasted potatoes with Turkish Meatballs and some Arugula. This time on 14 October, I ordered their hummus platter, and an order of Bruschetta platter, consist of a trio of Bruschetta, one with mushrooms, one with tomato and cheese on it and the third one cheese with figs, I believe.I had ordered that for my sister , so I only took a piece of the one with tomatoes and cheese. I ordered a salad, which I ask them to prepare, off the menu. The salad that I ordered was sliced tomatoes with sliced avocado and feta cheese with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was so delicious. They gave me a generous portion, that I ended up taking leftover of that home. I enjoyed that tremendously, the next night for my dinner. For my dinner, I ordered the baked salmon on arugula. It was so much that I asked my sister to take half of it, home as leftovers for her. My sister ordered a Beet Salad. It was a busy night, the tables were all filled up. They have tables set up outside, due to COVID.. It is very nice and cozy inside, but small. The only mishap I had that night was with the young male waiter. He was excellent.however, in clearing the plates off the table, I specifically told him, the food on the plates, was to go. Considering that it was crowded, they were extremely busy. As most places, due to COVID they tend to be understaffed. My sister was wondering why, we had not gotten the containers back with our leftovers. I hadn't realized that we didn't get it back. For my leftover salad, the server had given me a container in which to put it in. My sister was wondering why they hadn't just brought us containers to put leftover food, rather than take plates to the kitchen. Long story short, when I asked for the check and inquired about our leftovers, the server then realized the mistake he made. He informed me that he was confused and ended up throwing away the food. You can imagine how I felt, as I hate wasting food. No Less it was my sister's first time going to that restaurant. I mentioned this to the owner and other female server that was my first server that night, until male server took over to assist, due to busy night with the crowds. I was not expecting outcome of this, but was pleased with it. The female server came to my table and informed my sister and me, that they were not going to charge me for our dinner, due to server's mistake. I am a Christian and would never have cursed at them, nor yell at the server, when this happened.. I understand things happen, I only said to the owner, that I was disappointed as those leftovers were for my sister's husband. I respected their decision, to just charge me for the wine we had . I will definitely return back to Pierre Loti Restaurant, known for their Mediterranean Food. In spite of everything, I highly recommend Pierre Loti Restaurant, most deserving of five stars ...

This place is perfect, they've obviously been doing it well for a very long time. So relaxed that "it feels like New Orleans" and it really does. Plus all the little things have been considered and well delivered. First the seating - a huge Covid shack, warm and with comfortable seating, good for the colder months - sturdy tables, high tops and low tops. Next, sidewalk seating - airy and open, good for cocktails in the air on little, light white tables and chairs. Then the step down seating - still outside, but covered, warmer with huge leather seats and sturdy wooden tables, good for Fall and food. Finally there's indoors too which is cozy, warm and full of decorations. Now, the food was INCREDIBLE! Bruschetta was basically appetizer (tomato and basil) meal (mushroom and cheese) and dessert (honey, nuts and brie) on a plate; next the Turkish meatballs, also a full meal on a plate as it has fingerling potatoes and salad on top of the 5 meatballs. Finally the truffle and mushroom pizza was just gaga gooey delicious - and Cesar Salad just crispy and light and divine. The cocktails were incredible too!!! Serious, this place is just brilliant in all the subtle details and decisions. Old school New York brilliance (like 1800s old school). Definitely will come again

We were trying to grab drinks before we made it further uptown but everything seemed to be packed. As we were walking, we strolled past Pierre Loti and they said they could seat 5 in their parklet. Honestly, we're very glad this worked out! It was not packed at all so we had a whole corner to ourselves. We got some apps for the table but more importatly we had several drinks all of which were very good. They have an impressive wine list and you can't go wrong there but the cocktails are also very good. The only downside was that they had a party inside and because of that, we found ourselves at some points waiting for water, or the check even. Still, worth a visit!
