Spicy Vodka Pepperoni Spicy Pesto Pepperoni Buffalo Chicken Slice The Baba
Appearance: 10/10 Taste: 10/10
I previously dined at this locally owned pizzeria in Lower Manhattan.
I was highly impressed with the quality of the specialty slices, I wanted to explore some more.
The vodka sauce has quite a kick to it; the pepperoni adds more spice and flavor to the kick, which is definitely a good thing.
It’s quite obvious I can never get enough spice which is why I also scoped the spicy pesto pepperoni. there isn’t a flop on this thin, crispy slice.
If you need a variation of classic chicken wings, The buffalo chicken slice is a must try. It is topped with hearty chunks of chicken, blue cheese crumble, and scallions.
If are a fan of Mediterranean dishes, then you will definitely be a fan of this specialty slice inspired by the baba ghanoush appetizer.
The eggplant is soaked in a secret garlic marinade for 24 hours. This slice is also topped with tahini sauce and a touch of parsley.
It was a pleasure re-visiting this pizzeria and further exploring additional deluxe slices.

Read moreI honestly don’t understand the hype around this place. As a Muslim, I decided to try it because they offer Halal options, but I’ve had far better pizza elsewhere. We ordered three different slices to go: buffalo chicken, tie-dye, and spicy vodka. Unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired for several reasons:
Burnt slices: One of the slices was completely burnt on the bottom, which ruined the taste and texture.
Paper-thin crust: All three slices were so thin that they felt more like crackers than pizza.
Lack of flavor: The pizza lacked sauce and cheese, which made it dry and far from satisfying.
High prices: The cost was outrageous for the quality—nearly $20 for just three slices. For that price, I expect much more.
Excessively oily: The pizza was so greasy that it soaked through the packaging, making it messy and unappealing.
While I appreciate that they offer Halal options, the execution just wasn’t there. The quality of the food doesn’t justify the hype or the price. I was really hoping for a great experience, but this fell short in every way.
Personally, I wouldn’t go back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others either. This is just my honest opinion, but if you’re looking for quality pizza, there are far better...
Read moreI had ordered 5 pizzas for my birthday gathering and was extremely excited to try the pizza given its raving reviews.
It was very disappointing to find that the quality of every pie of pizza was very poor. The pizza was burnt and extremely dry, with barely any sauce on any of them (ironic given the name of the restaurant). The food was also extremely cold (I understand the latter may not have been their fault given it was through doordash).
For almost $40 for a pie, i expected much much better. It truly was one of the poorest pizzas i've ever tried.
I tried to give the business the benefit of the doubt that it may have been an off day, however when messaging the business to resolve internally, they did not respond.
Poor customer service, and a very poor experience. Even if other reviews are raving, as a restaurant they should be able to provide consistency. If not, they should have not accepted the order in the first place - or at the minimum should have responded to...
