I want to start this by clearly stating I love Pokeworks. I think it’s the best mainstream chain there is, the food is delicious. The Pokeworks in Wilton, CT is one of my favorite places in the northeast to grab a bite to eat. For that reason I wanted to love this location. Unfortunately, as other reviews have pointed out, at this location the portions are just too small across the board. When I ordered a large getting the large, I got a small 3rd scoop with only a few extra pieces of tuna. The sauces were just not enough to fill the bowl (at other locations you’re offered light, medium, or heavy sauce; here it’s one light squeeze). When I asked for green onions and seaweed salad, it was literally just a few pieces of each, barely noticeable. While the food I did get was delicious and the toppings were fresh, it just wasn’t a full meal, and the sauce wasn’t enough to round off the experience. I understand being in NYC costs must be higher, but I would honestly rather pay another dollar or two and get a really satisfying meal. At other locations when you buy a large, it’s practically bursting with fish, rice, sauce, and toppings. I’m writing this because I really do want to be a top customer here, since I love Pokeworks so much. Again I’d happily pay another $1 or 2 to get more satisfying...
Read moreUpdated review: I came back in here to see if the service was better.. However there is a lack of communication between the staff working.
I suggest getting the bowl because you get more bank for your buck. I loved the spicy salmon over rice and wonton chips are delicious with the wasabi mayo along with many other ingredients. I would not recommend getting the sirracha mayo and the jalapenos together if you shy of spice like me
The raw fish is fresh and I felt fine after. It's so much food for one that you may be for sure stuffed and burping your food later in the day.. hahaha
Note: no WiFi or toilet here

I like to be honest and authentic because I care about people and their experiences. With that said, the food was good and they do skimp out on the portions. The prices were unfair given how small the sushi burrito was. I love poke so I go to a lot of locations that sell poke and I think it's important to give a good amount of value if it's going to cost $$. The drinks to the side are really sweet so if that's not your thing try the...
Read moreDefinitely would NOT go again! They had all the raw fish out in the open next to the vegetables and chicken and my friend who went with me got the tuna and said it was not fresh. The server then gave her the wasabi she wanted but she clumped it into one bunch and added the avocado all onto one side. The bowl was very messy and not as pretty as the pictures online. The portion was also pretty small for the 10 price and they were running low on certain toppings. The sushi rice was very clumpy and not of good quality and the infused tea tasted like water.
I had ordered a chicken burrito and they did not even wrap it correctly. When I opened my burrito all the sushi rice was stuck to the paper and was falling apart so I had to eat the burrito with a fork. They clumped all the seaweed together and I did not get much chicken and the chicken tasted a bit like fish. Later on I even got a stomach ache.
The staff were sloppy while preparing the food but they were friendly...
