I’ve been there a total of 3 times and my first and second experience went without issue. I waited on line to place my order and the employees were more than accommodating. The third time I went there was a line and 1 register open. I waited and a 2nd register opens for kiosk orders. I opted to order at the register. A third register opens up with a blonde lady and she starts taking people. After 10 minutes it was my turn and I ask if I can order an 8th of bubba cake. She proceeds to tell me to order at the kiosk and then come back like I wasn’t waiting on the line. I asked her if customers are able to order at the register and she replies rudely saying “yes but not here.” This blonde lady made no attempt to assist me with WHICH REGISTER IS TAKING ORDERS. Her demeanor was nasty and unwelcoming, I left the store and bought at Union Square Travel Agency. Dispensaries need to understand that there are long time users as well as newcomers that still don’t understand how the system works. It goes a long way to just say “I’m sorry sir but you can order at the register to your right. If you need any help someone will be right with you.” Simple things like that make me remember the dispensaries in Colorado and Massachusetts. Continue to keep killing it Dazed employees! (Except you blonde lady, do better.)
Edit: I’ve gone back multiple times and one of the employees actually came up to me to talk about the review. She was very open to hearing suggestions on what can be improved and felt like things were ended off on a good note. Unfortunately, you remember the bad experiences more than the good ones. Today I went in and ordered pre rolls from the kiosk. My name was called and I went up to the register. I asked how she was doing and got no response or eye contact just the total of the pre rolls. Everyone has their bad days so I waited to hand my cash in and looked at some receipt on the counter. I asked if this was the receipt paper you can smoke in which she replied “no, that’s not yours.” I crumpled up the receipt and threw it back where it was and this ticked Her off. I told her “I’m sorry your day isn’t going well and I hope it gets better.” Clarrisa, I have nothing against you but your demeanor and overall interaction was like talking to someone who didn’t want to be there. Definitely not a welcoming experience. Hope you do...
Read moreDecided to splurge and try a licensed shop 😅. I forgot her name, but the older black woman was really nice, knowledgeable, and asked great questions to help in choosing a product.
I gave her a budget of $100 and the category of product I was looking for; vape and some pre-rolls, where I was prompted with "multi or single pack?"... Of course multi..
She took a bin, gathered a bunch of stuff from both counters.. Classic long NYC building footprint = long counters = hitting your step goal for the week, daily.. To where I was given details on everything, personal recs, and she scanned each one to help stay within budget...
Ended up picking up the revert 6 pack and a 1g NYHoney Disposable...$102 after tax.. Not bad.
It honestly is the tax that keeps unlicensed shops open, and lack of licenses issued that keeps product pricing higher.
Anyway... the product works, since this review is too long *😉 , but at least I added some spacing to break it up and not a single block of text. Service Industry veteran, and I have read many reviews and have even responsed to those reviews from the business. The long ones with 1 star are the best ones to read because it's either all true, or not even close.
To the workers that read this... I hope these at least get you a pizza party #iykyk.
To the tourists trying to find this place. Stop reading this while standing in the middle of the farmers market spinning in circles, just cross the street, you'll find it.

Read moreI would definitely return to this location. Allow me to share why. For context, I'm in my early 50s and very inexperienced when it comes to any drug that's not Rx, alcohol or caffeine, really. About 6 months ago, I suffered a traumatic brain injury in air turbulence working an international flight. A neurologist recommended I try cannabis. Reluctant, I didn't seek it until now. I've determined that I need to teach my body to exist in a state that's not "fight or flight" so I will re-learn a calm state of mind during the day and sleep better at night. I'll obviously have to stop using it before I return to work, but I've got some therapy to get through before that can happen. This is a good window of time to responsibly try cannabis. When I entered "Dazed", I shared this context with one of the employees and she very deliberately and patiently worked with me to determine my best course. I couldn't be more pleased. I wasn't interested in smoking; measured dosage mattered to me so I can monitor the effects carefully and know how much is right for me. I'm already pleased with the results!
I wish I could remember the name of the helpful young woman who spent the time to help me feel comfortable with my choice. I wanted her to know I appreciate her and that it's already giving me positive effects! Well done, to whomever does the recruiting and hiring. That's important business... bringing in people who can work with customers that...
