Brunch at my new fave spot 💜
valeri bolkvadzevaleri bolkvadze
I've been hooked on Pura Vida since my first acai bowl in Miami Beach, and now that they've brought that same tropical magic to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, it's officially my cross-country happy place. Whether I'm grabbing a quick breakfast in the Florida heat or a post-yoga lunch by the East River, this spot never misses—always fresh, always feel-good, and always leaving me with that "why isn't every meal like this?" glow. Let's start with the food, because chef's kiss doesn't even cover it. Their acai bowls are legendary: thick, creamy bases piled high with granola, fresh fruit, and nut butters that actually taste like they were picked that morning (pro tip: add the bee pollen for that extra zing). In Miami, I devoured the Summer Bowl—mango, pineapple, and quinoa vibes that transported me straight to the beach. Over in Williamsburg, the Thai Salad stole the show: crisp greens, spicy basil rice, tender chicken, and a dressing that's equal parts tangy and addictive. Everything's clean, chef-driven, and packed with superfoods—no heavy regrets, just sustained energy that lasts all day. Oh, and the smoothies? The mango one is basically liquid sunshine—refreshing, not too sweet, and way better than anything from a juice bar chain. Service is another win: fast, friendly, and genuinely warm, like chatting with old friends who happen to make killer coffee. Miami spots (shoutout to the Coral Gables and Midtown locations) have that spacious, light-filled ambiance with outdoor tables perfect for people-watching, while Williamsburg's Kent Ave outpost nails the urban-oasis feel—cozy patio, high vibes, and a menu that screams "Miami transplant" without trying too hard. Staff like Sofi in Brooklyn go above and beyond, swapping out extras with a smile. Prices are fair for the quality—$15-20 for a hearty bowl or salad that doesn't skimp—and it's all gluten-free/vegan-friendly without feeling forced. If you're in either spot, skip the lines (they move quick) and treat yourself. Pura Vida isn't just a meal; it's a mood booster. I've recommended it to everyone from fitness buddies to brunch crews, and they all come back converts. Keep spreading that pure life—can't wait for the next location!

Pura Vida Williamsburg is a true gem! The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every dish feels like it was crafted with care. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. Zebo went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Attentive, welcoming, and genuinely kind, he made us feel right at home and ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. If you’re in Williamsburg, don’t miss this spot — Pura Vida lives up to its name with food and service that radiate pure life and joy. Pura Vida Williamsburg is a true gem! I recently visited Pura Vida Miami Kent 25, and from start to finish my experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly well managed. The store was spotless, beautifully organized, and radiated a sense of professionalism and care. Everything from the freshness of the food to the speed and flow of the service was handled with precision, showing just how well the team runs this location.

I want to give a very special thank you to Ori and María, who truly went above and beyond during our visit. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine dedication to customer service stood out immediately. Both made sure that every detail was taken care of, always with a smile and a positive attitude that made us feel comfortable and valued. It’s clear they not only take pride in their work but also put their hearts into creating the best experience possible for every guest.

What impressed me the most was the way Ori and María managed the store while providing such personalized service. They were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, ensuring that everything ran smoothly without ever losing their warmth and attentiveness. Their ability to balance professionalism with genuine human connection made a lasting impression and elevated our entire experience.

It’s refreshing to see a place that not only prioritizes the quality of its food but also values the complete guest experience. The combination of a well organized, inviting environment with a team that truly cares about their customers makes Pura Vida Miami Kent 25 stand out in a remarkable way.

I wholeheartedly recommend this location and want to leave this review as a sincere thank you to the entire team especially Ori and María for their excellent service, professionalism, and hospitality. Pura Vida Miami Kent 25 is a gem, and it’s people like them who turn an ordinary visit into a...

I’m writing this review with great regret after a very disappointing experience at Pura Vida Miami at Brooklyn location , From the moment we arrived, I felt uncomfortable due to the lack of attentiveness and care from the staff. What made things even worse was that no one seemed to understand me when I tried to communicate my needs. This not only created unnecessary frustration but also made the service feel dismissive and unwelcoming.

What’s particularly unfortunate is that our first visit here had been great. At that time, a young man named Leo helped us with our table and his professionalism and attentiveness made our first experience enjoyable and made us come back again. However, on our second visit, Leo was not working, and the difference in service was drastic. Without him there, it felt as if the staff either could not or did not want to communicate with us, as though they didn’t speak English at all.

For a place with such a strong reputation and culture as I’ve been numerous times at this Business at the Miami ,Florida’s locations being great experiences its mind blowing the difference , it’s clear communication and genuine customer care should be a priority. Instead, I left feeling unheard, frustrated, and dissatisfied. Sadly, this experience has completely changed my impression of the restaurant, and I would hesitate to return or recommend this location to others.

To make matters worse, before leaving we were pressured by the staff to fill out a review as we were given a card with a google code to scan , which felt insincere given the poor service we just had .

We won’t be coming back , the Gm and rest management should address this and keep staff up to the great standard that the company has built throughout the years in...
