This great little family-owned restaurant has been a staple in Elmhurst for years, serving up amazing and affordable food. This isn’t your typical American-Chinese fare; this is the real deal. While they do offer dishes like chicken and broccoli, that’s not why you come here. The simplicity of the cooking is what makes the food amazing—sometimes, you don't need to overcomplicate dishes. Their lobster is particularly impressive, varying in season to give it a sweet taste, and it's quite affordable. Everything here is cooked to order, so don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations. They know what people will like and won’t like.

Authentic Cantonese cuisine in the heart of Elmhurst off Broadway. Plates were big and everything we ordered came out in less than 15 minutes. Waiter was quick and responsive to our needs. Friendly staff overall. Will come back again to enjoy a hearty and fulfilling meal with family and friends.

Pretty good place for chinese food when you have a large party. My favorite dishes are the three color egg and the walnut shrimp with mayo (the sauce is really good). The soup is a little like congee. The white meat in chicken is a little dry. My least favorite is the fried rice.

This rating is mostly for the rude lady that works here! She's likely one of the owners because she simply doesn't give a f.

I've been here on multiple occasions and she was very impatient and spoke with a rude condescending tone. I've had enough after what happened today.

I took my parents to this restaurant for my dad's birthday and we totally didn't overstay and was still working on our food. The nerve on this lady to ask us whether this was all that we were going to order and whether we could leave as there were more customers coming in. She wasn't even our waiter; our waiter was actually really nice. There were many tables left and we weren't lounging around so I don't know why she felt the need to essentially ask us to leave.

The food is not bad but not terrific. There's not enough flavor in some of the dishes, like the lobster and Tofu casserole. Walnut shrimp is good but today it was completely off and...

racist against other colored customers! I am chinese, have been going here for YEARS (10+) with my family. It was my grandfather's favorite restaurant. We came here with our family member who is african american and they straight up ignored our table. said oranges at the end of dinner were only served for early lunch, when there were customers who came the same time as us who received it. I have never dealt with such prejudice staff. Sad that they changed the management and train employees to treat customers like this. We don't support restaurants who do not treat customers equally. Sorry you have employees like this to unfortunately lose a big customer...

My go to place for legit Cantonese food in my area. The staff has been mostly the same people for my entire life (omg getting old). I grew up eating from here many times and lots of family reunion memories were made here for me. Hopefully y'all can experience something like that here too. The food is never disappointing and always hits the spot to being back the nostalgia. The first thing I always do is order the clay pot rice with Chinese sausage because it takes a long time to make... It is always a necessity for that to be part of the meal. Since I'm not a seafood eater, I can't tell you much about that, but their other dishes are pretty tasty...
