~ I've been going to this place for straightening perm since 2008. They did very well until 2011 as I go every year for the perm. When I went for my 2012 perm, they got very uncaring of my hair. My hair was not that straight as I am expecting and I had some burned scalp from the flattening iron. But I let it pass. I did not go until this year, April 2016 for the perm again. I wanted to have somebody that I already know but she's busy so I accepted whoever they gave me sinceI trusted them. Fast forward to the end of the perm- it looked good, until I washed it after 3 days (as instructed) my bangs are BURNED as well as the bottom back!!! I am soooooo upset so I cane back after a week to complain. I spoke to the owner and said that she will treat it for free, and I accepted. Came back a week after for the treatment and this woman who works there for a long time acted like I was lying about my case, don't recognize me and was talking in her language to her co-workers like I'm crazy. I am seriously upset but I was trying to keep my cool so I can get done with the treatment without incident. The owner took care of me and this (again) woman kept looking at me while talking to her co-workers and I know, I just know that they are talking about me. It is very rude! I think it is very rude to talk in your own language knowing that your costumers can't understand it. I was still so upset when I left. The owner chased me outside trying to make sure that my hair is all okay now, I just said yeah. But after a couple of wash, my hair really showed that it's still burnt. I am so upset beyond explanation. I have been very careful with my hair and would even buy shampoos and conditioners internationally- and then this. Mind you: I paid $200 for them to burn my hair. $200 to be disrespected. $200 to look awful. So if you guys don't mind being talked about unknowingly, then u can go...
Read moreLiterally just left this place. It sucks, Ive been coming here since i was little, the quality of people working here went so downhill. I asked for curtain bangs, he did something, but not what i asked for. You can see he was even nervous i would mention it when he said he was done. They also talked about my hair in their language. I know that 100% bc it came right after they were pushing me to do a “hot oil treatment “ and i said no. And as your paying they jump down your throat for a tip. I was already going to give a tip despite the terrible experience, they literally didn’t even give me a minute though. The second i inserted my card she was asking me to give the tip. I told her im doing my tip in cash. She’s like ok go give it then. Like im being forced to give it? Thats just bad taste and made me feel like a walking money bank. They do not care about the service they deliver and didnt do what i asked for. This is my last time coming here. If you want a good experience with good quality people do not...
Read moreI went in with pictures (see below)and explained I only wanted small highlights section of my hair( on my bangs) and all over brown to match my natural hair color. the older lady hairstylist with a bad perm and gray hair decide she was going to bleach whole of my head. After she bleached the top of my head, she tried to fix it by dying the unwanted bleached parts brown turning my hair green in those areas. She chemically burned my scalp and I have mismatch areas where the bleach fell so it is orange. My hair has fallen out because of the person terrible work. On top of everything they charged me more that I was quoted. I was told 175 and was charge almost 190. I have had to spend hundreds of dollars to salvage my remaining hair( protein treatments, deep conditioning to stop hair from breaking and falling out).No other professional will touch my hair for at least 3 months to allow me to heal. AVOID THIS PLACE...
