Quick Hero City Deli Grocery — Restaurant in New York

I frequently visit this deli / grocery store and have never been disappointed in the food, service and atmosphere. The food is VERY good, delicious, well prepared and served quickly. There is a vast variety of FRESH hot and cold foods to choose from. Freshly-made salads are served with a choice of a number of great toppings. In addition, freshly-brewed coffee and some grocery items can be purchased here. Note: some sandwiches come with a FREE can of soda. Given all of this, the prices are affordable. The manager is pleasant and courteous. The cook/server is a gentleman, very nice and dependable and works hard to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Stopped here for breakfast on a trip to Fordham. Ordered bacon, egg, cheese and hash brown on a Kaiser roll.

I got exactly what one wants from an NYC Bodega/Deli egg sandwich.

The bacon was meaty/salty/smokey. The yellow American cheese was gooey. The hash brown was crispy. The griddled eggs were fluffy.

Eat their sandwiches n wraps all the time 2018 2021 still my fav place for eats my second kitchen p/u and go. I never enjoy grilled chix til i had it at city hero deli, very clean i have in every possible way chix sandwich wraps or with rice or A bowl or Spinach. Snacks and drinks galore. beware very family n community oriented no alchol no cigarettes. just come in and show the love you have for your community.
