Update 1 Year Later: * ———————————————————— Wowwwww wowwww!!! Im super glad I actually came back after so long! Last Saturday I was craving some noodles and decided to come back to Zhongzhong… I ended up not having noodles but I am so happy I came!! I had some *Wonton in chicken soup + * Marinated fried chicken + *Marinated Beef rice Bowl + *Braised Pork rice bowl. Everything was SOOOO DELICIOUS, food actually felt and tasted like homemade with a combination of warm love… it was pouring outside and food made me feel warm and cozy!! The best part of everything was the above and better service from the lady in charge, she offered every customer one of her umbrellas so that nobody got wet on the bad weather, she seemed so caring and worried nobody got sick from the rain. It was for sure the perfect day to visit, the service was diamond deserving and the food was even better, heavenly made!! Once again, 100000% recommend Zhonzhong!!
1 Year Ago: * —————————————— Loved, loved, Loved Zhongzhong Noodles!!!! Can’t wait to be back!!!
I came here with my mom and my bf after our plane arrived from the Caribbean… we were starving and we were so so so cold after spending a month in our country… we were craving warm food, something to feed our souls and warmup our bodies, so I found them and decided to head here.
It was my mom’s first time trying ramen soup and it drove her crazy!!!! All she wants to eat now is ramen.
This restaurant is small, cozy, and there were only two employees, one of them was the chef and cashier and waiter, the other one we saw doing some prep in the back and helping the chef.
My mom had Shredded chicken noodle, I ordered Tomato & sliced beef noodle, my boyfriend had the Szechuan braised beef noodle. We also shared 2 orders of pork soup dumplings!
The food was out of this world!!!! It was the BEST ramen I’ve ever had!!!! The combinations were incredible, very unique and soooooo delicious!!! The three of us ordered something different, we tried all plates and everything was so exquisite!!! The pork soup dumplings were mouthwatering and a bomb of flavor!!! They had instructions on how to eat the dumplings that we followed thoroughly.
Since my mom became a ramen lover that day, we’ve tried different places for her to enjoy, but none compare to Zhongzhong Noodles. Believe me when I say NONE!!!!!!!
The best part is the food was made right in front of us and EVERYTHING was made freshly, right there and then!!
1000000% recommended!!! They are...
Read moreAfter vising the New York Botanical Garden, we walked over to this spot for some noodle dishes. I enjoy Chinese dishes from hand-pulled noodles eatries, but I don’t usually try noodle dish similar to ramen from a Chinese restaurant. So, I was very interested in their dishes!
It was rather hidden away, placed in a residential area, instead of in the other main streets. It was still a bit early, so the place was nearly empty. By the time we left, it was pretty busy, so we were lucky to get there early!
We ordered Marinated Fried Chicken, which didn’t quit look the same as the photos in the ads. But the flavor is more important... It came with a dipping sauce, tasted like some king of chipotle mayo, which I really enjoyed. The chicken was tender, super juicy, so addictive! We really enjoyed it.
My hubby ordered Braised Beef Noodle, and it came in a really big bowl. The broth was out of this world good! With one slurp, I was instantly sent to a noodle heaven. Delicious! The noodles were kind of bunched up together, I am not sure that is how they cook them intentionally? But the signage that says “mix well before enjoying your noodles” totally made sense. Great dish!
I was feeling adventurous, and wanted to order something that was different and interesting. So, I ordered Tomato & Sliced Beef Noodle. This reminded me of an old movie called The Ramen Girl with Brittany Murphy…any fans out there??? Refreshing flavor, kind of antidote to the rich beef broth. Almost like a nice hot tomato soup without being too tomato-y. Really enjoyed this one as well.
So, our visit was a complete success! They are truly a hidden gem. Their food was amazing, the portion was good, and very affordable as well. We were very happy...

Two new menu items! This place truly is a gem in the Bronx.
Matcha Ice cream!!!!! 🍦 and a Japanese Cold noodle, I'll need to check the specific name during my next visit.
Now the matcha It's creamy light and delicious. After a hot and spicy bowl of soup this is the way to please the palate.
The Japanese Cold noodle dish I tried today I can only describe as refreshing if I had to use one word. On a hot day like today this meal will cool down your insides and leave your tastebuds craving more. My experience of the taste consists savory and citrussy. I genuinely can't describe it all that well but recommend you give your tastebuds the opportunity to experience something new and amazing.
Truly a gem in the Bronx.

The Food continues to be amazing. The meat in all of the dishes is always very tender and soft. The quality of noodle is always superb. They're firm enough to hold together yet soft enough to chew up easily.
Love the addition of soup dumplings! Can't wait to see what else they may bring to their menu. Overall this is one of those hidden gems in the Bronx that you have to visit at least once especially if you like a good bowl of Ramen.
Original review:
The food is amazing, staff is great and I don't know why you aren't eating here yet. There's really not much to say other than this is the best noodle spot in the Bronx. Beats Roc N Ramen by a whole 10 miles.
The meat in their noodle dishes is amazing. Super tender very flavourful. The broths are rich and filling.
Rice dishes as well are superb. Again meat and veggies are well seasoned and amazing. The food here is amazing and I can't say...
