This is a coffee cafe with great additions to the menu. The place is smallish with only a few tables. Don't expect too much with the decor. No frills but works Ordered Truffle egg and cheese brioche. It is cooked/prepared as you order. Super. Excellent. Simply yummy 😋. Not to take away anything from the sandwich itsef, I was told that the brioche comes from the notable Manhattan Baltazar bakery. The whole package just works in a fantastic way. One of the best egg and cheese sandwiches I have ever had. Got the ube latte (whole milk) Lovely latte art work. The color is just wonderful. The taste you ask? The coffee is smooth, refined and yet robust. Very nice balance. Wonderful coffee with a hint of ube. Did I mention that the croissants also are from Baltazar? ...with in house cookies and bread loads. One more thing...the service was superb. I had many questions and all were answered and explained in a graceful manner. Can't wait to go and try more of their offerings. This is a great place. Highly recommend

Place is modern with clean marble bar stool and bar looking out their wall to wall windows. Parallel is their service counter/bar & kitchen. The staff was so lovely, helpful and patient. Great music (personal opinion Swifty for life!) a legit delicious looking food menu. With their whole menu easy to see the staff do help in answering any curious questions. Their drink menu seems to be a hybrid of Japanese/French with the whole Brooklyn chill. Classics and inspired flavor combos. I had their maple hojicha oat latte and it was authentic and YUM! Perfect temp as a latte should be consistently with a bonus of foamy joy for oat milk and easy to stir latte art into so was a happy girl! I 110% wanna try their Kani brioche sandwich next time! â˜șïžđŸ˜‹ Arigato Sippy CafĂ©!

Update: they did such a good job elevating the space and making it more inviting with tables, decor and even a cute mandarin plant. Matcha Latte is consistently great! Original: Very decent matcha latte. I wish the ambiance had more character and was more inviting to stay. It is a clean cut, light space but feels too sterile and empty, so even if I want to stay and sit at the window to sip my drink I eventually head out. It is more of a take out place I feel.

I totally cop to being a coffee snob. We buy high-end beans and have an expensive Moccamaster machine at home. (A gift I appreciate every day) Consequently, most of the time when I pay $8 for a latte at one of the many fancy coffee shops in our neighborhood, I am typically underwhelmed and wish I had just had our coffee at home.

Sippy is one of the rare exceptions. The black sesame latte is so rich and silky I can barely speak while I drink it, and the brown sugar oat latte is almost as good.

We got an eggwich recently and it was perfect. The brioche was so light, eggs cooked perfectly, toppings really flavorful.

The staffers here are always kind, attentive and quick. They know their stuff if you have trouble deciding what you want.

Only downside is it’s not really set up to hang out, it’s more of a grab and go situation. That’s sort of a shame because I didn’t want that breakfast sandwich to get cold, so we ate perched on the stools by the window. It was fine, but not cozy.

Will I do it again? 100%. I would hover under an overhang on the curb and be...

It’s a great cafe in so many ways, above and beyond in food and menu and drinks and atmosphere. But there is only one person handling everything during peak hours and they are usually stuck in another room with the kitchen, meaning you have to wait 10min as the line builds up just for someone to come out and take the first order and then another 10min just for them to get to your coffee order. And then after all that, they get my coffee order wrong. And then I ask for the correct order, and they get it wrong again because they’re so overwhelmed. Somewhere like this doesn’t count as a cafe.

EDIT: Came back a couple months later and still the same problem. They forget my drink without even realizing it.

EDIT 2: They have no bathrooms
they have a indoor seating for customers, but...
