Square Deli — Restaurant in New York

I’ve been coming here for far too long and unfortunately this is the final straw and they have lost me as a loyal customer! Staff is really nice and the food & smoothies are good but prices are often inconsistent (from day-to-day/person-to-person), I get short changed when paying in cash, have gotten egg shells in my BEC and today I found a piece of silver cleaning aluminum in my food. My advice for the staff is to slow down just a tad ensuring they are dotting their i’s and crossing their t’s. I get it, there can be large AM and lunch crowds with so many schools in the area, but it’s unacceptable! Note that they currently lack a Food Safety...

Let me just start by saying that I love this place and I come here all the time for their food. This time though, I came in to buy a salad that would usually cost me $15 and ended up getting charged $25 for a salad in two separate containers. When I told the person working that it was wrong she said that I had to pay for the toppings which is always the same. I came here to get a quick bite for breakfast, as it was the one of the only places open at 7:45am on a saturday. They make eggs and breakfast foods to order at the deli counter. There is also a smoothie bar. They also have some prepared foods ready to go, as well as a large selection of niche packaged beverages. They seem to sell premium products.

They also sell beer.
