This place is THE reference place for electric motorbikes and e-bikes in the northeast. I recommend them without reservations. I've known Enrico at the store for years, back from when I was looking for someone to install hydraulic brakes on a Boosted Rev scooter. In 2023, my commute needs changed, and I bought from them a Zero SR/F, of which I'm extremely happy. The product itself is amazing and it speaks for itself: read any competitive reviews on the internet. It is basically the best electric mass-produced sports motorcycle currently on the market. It has an insane acceleration and torque at zero RPM, on par with something like a Ducati liter bike, plus outstanding response and power delivery with programmable traction control and ABS. It's also extremely easy to use - no clutch, no gears. It charges in 1-1.5h for 50-70% of the tank, which covers more than my daily commute, and it's compatible with all J1772 chargers. There's one at work, which means this year I'll be commuting for free. Range is not exceptional but it's at the 2023 state-of-the-art level for EVs, and it's more than what necessary for daily commute. Where Zero Motorcycles at corporate doesn't shine is post-sale assistance: they are not super responsive via email, or easy to find on the phone. This is where the service level of your local dealership makes a difference: the team at Filipacchi is super responsive on the phone and they are always able to answer questions within a handful of hours at most. It took a bit longer to get my seat, as thr owner explained it, I hit the "perfect storm" with Zero being out of commission due to fires in California and the store being looted. The owner did reach out to me and offered to either refund my money or send me the seat. I wanted the seat and he got it delivered overnight once he got it, so thanks for spending the extra money on getting to me as fast as possible. He even included a hat as a way of appreciating my business. I have changed my original review to reflect great customer service. Why only 4 stars instead of 5? I sent a few emails and calls while waiting and did not hear from the anyone until a week or two after. However, since contact they were superb and I will likely do more business with them... Bought an electric skateboard from them several years ago (Boosted Gen 1) and even though the company stopped any technical support of providing any repairs, these guys offered to help. Again, the offer was there but no follow through. Stopped in twice and spoke to the owner who assured me he would call his rep and see what could be done about my board with led than 50 miles on it in mint condition that wouldn't charge. Nothing. Then I decided to look into buying another board to ride and both times I stopped in, the controller for the board I wanted to test wasn't there but he would call me... you guessed it, never a single call back even after leaving two messages on his VM.
