sweetgreen — Restaurant in New York

Horrible experience! A new location, but the staff act just like at Sweetgreen — unqualified and lazy. Orders take way too long, while five people stand around in the kitchen joking with each other instead of serving customers. The entire dining area is filled with their loud laughter and pointless chatter. It feels less like a decent restaurant and more like a rundown train-station pizzeria.

I strongly ask management to pay attention to this. This isn’t an isolated incident — it’s a problem across the whole business. Out of 7 locations I’ve visited, only the Flatbush Ave one was truly up to standard. The rest — a disaster.

And I haven’t even mentioned that the staff mixed up the type of rice, because they were too busy joking with each other, just sitting around collecting a paycheck. If their pay truly reflected what they deserve, it would be far less...

Sweet Greens is always good but management here is terrible. Ordered a build your own salad. Was told I could choose 4 from the basics section. I did. When I went to pay the manager came to the register to tell the cashier that the roasted tomatoes were extra. I said I didn't want to pay for them they were in the basic section. Brilliant manager thought the solution was to throw the salad away and make me a new one. Let's waste food, lose money and anger a customer! Amazing management move.

In the end, I'm actually glad I got the new salad because the first lady who made the salad was super skimpy on topings....
