Carnival Fruits & Vegetables — Local services in New York

There’s a really nice selection of food and vegetables that you can’t find at most places which is what I love about the store. However, some of the staff are the nastiest and rudest people you can meet for a grocery. There’s this brown lady who is really lazy and sloppy with her job, and gets passive aggressive at times. Definitely needs to fix her behavior. I remember having an instance where there I told the person to keep the change cause it amounted to a few pennies to which a brown male staff to proceed to embarrass me, so I took it and left without saying anything. He seems to be more of a recent hire, but knowing this neighborhood, you’re gonna have to learn to cope with the customers in a nicer way.

I feel so lucky to live near this place. Best produce I've ever had. A huge selection of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Quality control is excellent, every time I go I see people sorting the fruit so only the best is there. Excellent selection of dry goods as well. Very good selection of Italian meats, many kinds of cheese from the inexpensive to the fanciest of fancy, they have nuts and dried fruits available by the pound. I love this place. A great addition to the community under the new management that revamped this local produce market about two or three years ago (Turkish, if I'm not mistaken).
