Taj Mahal Lounge — Restaurant in New York

On my first time there I dropped the Charcoal on my jacket and the sofa. The staff helped me very fast and told me it was OK. I kept apologizing and they treated me well. One of them even cleaned my jacket. Best customer service ever.

I asked for the king hookah and a bottle of water. The hookah was great and it quickly gave me a buzz. The total was 24 dollars. 20 for the hookah, 2 for the water and 2 for tax. It was a great experience and I will be back but this time I will not burn my jacket. The hookahs star at 11 dollars if I'm correct. Cool spot.

After looking for a good and authentic hookah bar for a long time, I am just happy I found this place. Compared to a lot of places that serve hookah in New York (Manhattan especially), this place actually serves good tobacco and coal that burns long. All that for around $11-19 (instead of 35-40 bucks like in other places). The drinks are also cheap. The atmosphere is always extremely chill and hospitable, music is not too loud, you can bring your own food from outside and staff is very friendly. Me and my friends chose this spot for a night out and we were met with the absolute worse customer service ever. The temperature outside was in the low 40s and we asked staff to close the outside door and we were denied. The backdoor was open as well and they denied both requests. On top of that the staff gave us a disrespectful look after we denied his requests for drinks twice. It was cold inside and the hookah smoke was not really good as there was too much wind. The flavor tasted like plastic and the staff was unresponsive to our simple requests. We were polite and respectful. 1/10 would not...
