The TANG IS A DANGEROUS PLACE! DO NOT GO to THIS DANGEROUS PLACE! I had a horrible experience with this place. please read on....
Last 3 times my family (me and wife w/2 kids) visited the Tang. 1st occasion: my son got hot boiling soup into his eye while the dish is brought to our table. 2nd occasion: hot water cattle for Ice cream desert (to make a cool effect over dry-ice) burned his arm. And for one last time, my mini van felled into 2-3 feet deep creek they made on the Parking lot. (it was covered with a piece of ply-wood. !!)
I finally had it with this greedy owner/manage running the place. I can say this cause, when I asked them to pay for my damage, they gave me run around with a there construction contractor's expired insurance certificate! (not the TANG's, the manager keep asking me to called the 3rd party(construction contractor) insurance broker to settle with them)
When I called back asking for this scam, the manager got really rude with me, start yelling at me over the phone. I told him I'm not going to argue over the phone. I went to the Tang. face to face, now this Manager and owner greet me with excuses. we start arguing. they (3 guys. owner/manager/so called strong waiter..) put me in a separate Room. start giving me all the excuses. threats (almost got into a physical fight with all 3 man) now they blaming me, my son for his injury. while he got burned (he was seated in his sea when in both time t!) also blaming me for drive my van into that ply wood covered Hole. (they saying not many people drive over there) today I went in there, other cars parked in the same spot. (now the creek is cemented) I guess many drivers does drive over that spot.
Since they blaming my kids and me for the incidents now I am going to take them to the Court for all 3 occasion. I'm going to share pictures and dash cam footage of my bills and the parking lot indecent to everyone to see it very soon.
MY 2 CENTS: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, IF YOU DO, MAKE A POLICE REPORT IF ANYTHING HAPPENED TO YOU OR YOUR LOVE ONES. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE NICE TO THEM BY LETTING IT GO, THEY WILL BECOME SO RUDE ONCE YOU BECAME THE VICTIM AND THEY START TAKING AN ADVANTAGE OF YOUR GENEROSITY.

Read moreWent to Tang to celebrate with family, 12 people. We have eaten there before but not as a large group. Food is good, no doubt about it. But the low rating I give it is because of their service. We had three dishes come out at first and then had to wait 10 minutes before another three dishes showed up. This repeated until almost all the plates were delivered to the table except for one. After waiting almost 45 minutes I decided to cancel that dish because they were telling me that there were still two more orders ahead of mine. How does a restaurant operate like that? Never have I gone to a restaurant with a large party and have had to wait so long for one particular plate and have all the other plates come out at different intervals. Usually any restaurant will accommodate large parties and they will notify you if there is an issue with certain plates taking a little longer to cook, which I understand. But how do you tell the customer that there are still two orders before his can be cooked while all his family members have already finished eating? And the order wasn’t anything that would take any longer or any different to cook, the order was for shrimp. While getting the receipt, they informed me that they removed the price for the shrimp, which I thought was a normal thing to do since we never received it. But they did not even give us a discount to make up for a person not having their lunch brought out to them., which I find to be unusual because almost anywhere that you go they will be gracious enough to discount at least 10% of your bill if they mess up. Not even a free soda, lol. I paid the almost $340 bill, but did not leave a tip.The staff was confused as to why I did not leave a tip. I’m always a very generous tipper but when things like that happen, I’m sorry, you did not deserve to get a tip. I’m sorry if you do not agree with me not tipping but under the circumstances and how they dealt with the situation was not appropriate. So the only thing I can really tell you at this time is to not go there with a large party unless you like having your food brought out at all...
