Mythos Authentic Greek Cuisine — Restaurant in New York

This rubbish restaurant, I called and ordered takeaway that day, the front desk told me to come and get the food in 25 minutes, and when I arrived at the restaurant at the time they told me, an old woman with a peeled skin told me to wait another 5 minutes. That's alright, I happily told her it was okay, so I went back to the car and waited. After 10 minutes, I went in and asked if the meal was ready? A young front desk ignored my questions! That old woman didn't seem to see me! I know she didn't prepare the meal at all, so she was a little embarrassed to face me, but I asked her, she didn't seem to hear, I was really angry at that time 😤, I waited 45 minutes from when I went to her restaurant to when I got the meal minutes, and the indifferent attitude of the front desk staff is really rubbish! I strongly advise everyone not to go to her restaurant to order food as you will be waiting almost an hour there for your food! Really rubbish...

Great Greek food. I took my hubby for the father day weekend it was busy but didn’t affect the service. We had very friendly lady who not just brought the food to our table big smiles and good energy too. Food arrived fast. I stated with the soup Avgolemono (lemon rice) unique flavor for the summer days delicious.(comes with chicken breast) My favorite was the pan fried cheese (saganaki) they serve big portions I already was full..:) The octopus a must try it was perfectly grilled with a splash of olive oil and fresh lemon.Side of course lemon potatoes. I have to mention the moussaka here really light another must try form the menu!! The only thing I don’t go crazy for their baklava. Aww and the bread I take it home with me too.

Parking was easy we find a spot their parking lot (behind the restaurant) it’s not big but you can park on the side and pay at the meter also. Great choice to pick this place if you love Greek food.Definitely...

You know this restaurant had to be doing something right because it was been open for business forever. Never had a chance to eat here until I was invited to a party at this place in their private room. We had salmon and pork souvlaki. Both plates came with rice and vegetables. The salmon was cooked to perfection. It was not dry, and it was not raw. Had the right amount of seasoning too. The park tasted delicious. One of the best pork souvlaki I have had in NYC. The rice was just okay. Had nothing special. However, the sauteed vegetables were outstanding. Had a great taste that even someone who does not like vegetables will enjoy them. This place has a lunch menu. The days and times are Monday – Friday from 11:00 AM – 3:00PM. Furthermore, I highly recommend this ristorante to host a party. Their private room is amazing. Looks beautiful and the staff is beyond...
