Update : I was in queens yesterday & decided to have lunch there. The train service was a mess , took me a while to reach .
When I got there i saw not many people, Altho it was a Saturday & it was lunch time . I asked for a table & the waitress asked for how many people. She goes I don’t have any table for you. I was like excuse me..? I see plenty of empty tables ! She says no mam you need reservations! I said from when ? I came here couple of times & never you guys mentioned about any reservations! Every time I came the restaurant was literally empty! Then she goes you can seat by this area, the stupidest area she is showing me is bad one! People will literally bump you when they coming in . I asked so you saying all those empty spaces I can’t seat none of the areas ? Then why you asked me for how May people? Just because I am alone you have no table for me? If I had ten people would you have said the same thing ? She goes I don’t have any table for you ..!
I have never been so mad & sad at the same time . It took me more then an hour by transit just to come from elmhurst! I was so hungry & tired ! Now I gotta go back & find another place to eat. I could have just eat in elmhurst or Jackson heights in a Bangladeshi restaurant! Didn’t need to spend my energy, time or money to come here! So now I m too tired to take transit so I called Uber & went to Thai nara ! It was great , never coming to this place ever again . The funny thing is after my review here & Yelp so many people actually visited this place . I will tell them what happened, because it was not Ok ..!

Read moreGM. We were traveling and our host brought us here as they had excellent previous experience and I m sure I will do the same while treating my special guests with the best. Unfortunately the wait time was good more than an hour since it was dewali plus weekend. Not to worry as things happen. We waited further 30 min as the restaurant was supper busy n none of the servers were free to clean the table for 12 for us. I would certainly say it was under staffed especially for that much crowd. It seemed like a wedding hall. Food was served delayed but again things happen with such crowd. Something which turned us off was when the 3 servings of chicken with garlic sauce was extremely salty to the point that it was inedible. Although everyone had poured it, we were served with reconditioned chicken garlic. Still not complaining. This is where I would certainly comment where it becomes very important for the customer service people to respond and make it up timely and efficiently. We were at the restaurant with 12 people and we were not looking for tricks for discount but it would certainly a curtsy call if we would not be charged or be discounted for the garlic chicken. That is where customer service needed to act smartly and efficiently. Starters were really good. Dumping I must say was tasty and soup didn’t disappoint me at all. Food was as good as we knew our hosts wanted to bring us to one of the best places. I must say again: you need to work on your customer service. Things happen in restaurants but you need to know how to minimize the damage or make up for...

I come in to dine with someone and the restaurant is empty and I'm assuming I've came at their lunchtime because it seemed like we were disturbing them. The lady seating us and serving us had the nastiest attitude. For all that, you could've told us to come back another time and in all honesty, I would've. I've been coming to this place since my high school days but not anymore. It's like the simplest request is an impossible mission for them. I asked for clean utensils for both my guest and I, the lady insisted on giving us clean utensils and had an attitude. I don't get it? Our dine-in lasted no longer than an hour because I felt like we were disturbing their lunchtime. Food was ok. I've tipped before leaving cus it'll be the last tip they'll ever see from me. Place is ran down now and isn't the same it was couple of years ago... and if management responds to this review, don't argue back, just try to improve the experience within the restaurant for godsake. A family ran restaurant but, you cannot treat your guests like family...
Edit: Seems like management didn't understand a thing I said about my experience but just went on rampage to disregard my review. I have credit card transactions of dining in this establishment, definitely not a "fabricated" experience. Nonetheless, improving your service is more crucial than improving your argument with a customer's experience. Never...
