Taste of China — Restaurant in New York

I frequented this place a few times and found the food good, other times mediocre. Today I thought I'd try something new. I ordered two shrimp eggrolls and shrimp with rice soup. I can honestly say I will not be back. The egg rolls were nothing but cabbage with what appeared to be diced shrimp (that you couldn't even taste). The soup was terrible as the result of over cooked rice that was almost like porridge. I like my pasta al dente, even though rice is a grain, it shouldn't be mushy, it should be at least a bit firm. Also, you could actually count the amount of shrimp that was in it as they were all floating on top, and at that, they weren't whole pieces (much like the eggrolls). Be careful if you eat here. First I was suppose to get 16 fried shrimp with fries. My foam plate had a bite like a rat bite, a piece was missing. When i told them they short me 2 shrimp they thought it was funny & laughed. How do these people have a business & something so simple they,can't manage. Instead of saying I apoligise or something. The place is filthy and not clean at all. I will never go back but I will tell my coworkers too at the hospital too. That's not how you handle business I'm sorry. They don't even clean the tables. Good tasting food. not the best price. lost one star because of a new girl working who is not very friendly... but otherwise good. Lost another start because of the same young chines girl, she refused to serve a guy because of the way he looked( I felt bad for the guy, so I told him to wait outside and I went in and purchased the food for him)... I'm not buying there any more. a business should not discriminate on who they serve just because a customer...
