Elmhurst Deli — Restaurant in New York

This is my second time ordering here, and it was the worst. The food is not the problem, but the workers or owners are. I called to place to put a pick up order, but he told me to please place it online because it would be easier for them . So i did . I ordered through their website . When my husband went to pick up the food, they told him there was no order . I sent a picture of the email confirmation i received from their website. They made the food . But when whwn my husband left, i received a call from the restaurant stating they never received the order . I sent them the pictures of the email i received, and everything was paid online. Long story short , the guy was complaining to me, saying he never received the order and he was so rude telling me that i had to fix the problem.... 10 min later, i received another call from a girl (they guy didn't even have the audacity to call me back himself to apologize) to who works there saying that they received the order just now . But it took her soooo long to apologize, i dont even think they wanted to apologize. Horrible experience. I hope i never have to order from...

I am so frustrated with this place. I have ordered from them in the past via text (which is actually on their menu to order by text). I have had a decent experience in the past, EXCEPT the past 2 times I have ordered I waited almost an hour and a half with nothing. They confirmed the order was received but an hour and a half later I received nothing. I texted multiple times asking and they finally call and say they can deliver in 10 minutes. It's not a good system. If you are going to advertise for people to order by text, you need to have your system in place. It's very frustrating. I've waited an hour and a half and still nothing. Now I have to figure something else out.

So be warned...call them or maybe seamless works with them...but don't text your order even though they list that as an option.

THE FOOD IS NASTY HERE!!!! PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I ordered chicken nachos and the first thing was the smell of something sour when i opened it so i didnt eat it, The beans were suspose to be refried and instead they gave us whole beans with sour water on top of the chips which made the chips soggy, the gauc was watery and not good at all also they forgot one of my taco orders. I was ok with it after finding out the tacos were mushed really bad together and soggy so i didnt even eat them. the fries i ordered for my daughter were soggy due to sitting in oil and there were not fried or crispy so i didnt let her eat that either. nothing had flavor nor did it even have the basic salt smh I Threw Everything In...
