I mean the atmosphere is typical chicken spot. Nothing fancy. It’s a in and out thing. There’s tables but I hardly see anyone dine in. The food is always good, full of flavor. It don’t taste frozen which I like. I always get the chicken tenders (they’re big at least for me so I always do 3) with the fries. They changed their biscuits to be buttery and fluffy which I like cause it gives off old school KFC biscuits back when they use to really make em fluffy and buttery back in the 90s. I’ve tried their cheeseburger which is basic but taste really good if you dress it up how you like if that make sense. I wasn’t crazy about their fried chicken but it’s not bad - my issue was more preferentially than quality. This place is a good choice if you want something not too complicated but still hit the spot. It’s my go to since I work not too far in the area. They use to close early but I guess that move hurt them financially cause now they’re back open past 10. Glad they’re back open late because it really made no sense not even culturally. What chicken spot in the hood closing 9 pm, they thought they...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised by this place. It is somewhat similar to Popeyes or Church's. The chicken was cooked perfectly with crunchy and spicy skin and moist on the inside, the fries were fresh and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, biscuits were fluffy (though I much prefer Church's or even Popeyes biscuits). I like that you can choose your specific chicken pieces (white or dark) as I only like thighs and legs. The coconut bread pudding is literally one of the best desserts I've had EVER. I couldn't believe I was eating this from a fast food place. It is a MUST get. Also, this place is like half the cost of Popeyes so the value is great. I definitely recommend this place just based on the freshness, consistency and affordability. I can immediately tell that the workers care about...
Read moreHi, I am one of those customers who have been supporting texas chicken and burger since it was opened at kew gardens in queens. However, last week my experience was just traumatizing when one of the workers at texas chicken and burgers on upper east side threatened me and did discrimination by saying we don't serve Pakistani’s. He has a white skin tone and has a beard. I ignored him several times but he always tries to argue and be rude. He gets mad if you request for napkins, hand sanitizer, ketchup, or fresh food. I feel like I wont be visiting this outlet again and if such behavior continues. Me and my friends will boycott with this fast food outlet just because of this guy rude behavior and racism. I don't know what is wrong with this...
