If you're in Astoria, you HAVE to check out The Coffee Lab! I stopped by on a Saturday around 2 PM, and pro tip: get there early if you want to snag a pastry—lots were already sold out by the time I arrived. But no worries, there’s plenty of cozy seating inside to hang out and enjoy your drinks. Here's what I tried and loved (in order of preference): 🄯 Everything Biscuit – Absolutely flaky perfection! The topping was a game-changer. ā˜• Ice Mocha – Super refreshing, and the balance of sweetness was on point. šŸ’› Biscoff Latte – Perfectly tasty, though it’s on the sweeter side if that’s your thing. šŸµ Matcha Latte – Smooth and comforting, just the right amount of earthy flavor. 🫐 Blueberry Crumble Muffin – A solid treat, but I’d definitely recommend getting there early for the best selection. Overall, fantastic vibes, great drinks, and unique finds that are worth the visit!

I went there to get my espresso and green tea matcha latte as usual and l am writing to formally raise a concern about your staff members during my recent visit to your coffee shop. I found her behavior and appearance to be highly unprofessional and concerning. The staff member in question had long hair that was left untied while handling food and drinks, which raises serious hygiene issues. Additionally, she was noticeably rude to customers, including myself, which made the overall experience very unpleasant. As a paying customer, I expect basic standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and courtesy from the staff. Unfortunately, this incident did not reflect those standards. I hope you will address this matter promptly to ensure better service and hygiene for your customers in the future.

Astoria isn’t lacking in coffee shops but it’s still nice to see when a new one opens. Coffee Lab is located on the quiet corner of 31st Avenue and 34th Street in Astoria. This is a great place to hang out, work or just people watch. The space isn’t huge but the floor to ceiling windows that opens out into the street makes for a very bright and welcoming space. There is free Wifi, plenty of seating (inside and outdoor), really good coffee and friendly staff. Their menu mainly consists of hot & cold drinks and pastries. And prices are comparable with other cafes in Astoria. If you happen to be in this part of the neighborhood, definitely try them out. Tip: Wifi password is TheCoffeeLab3420

I had high expectations for this place after reading google reviews. And hyped it up to my sister after seeing Instagram reels about great coffee drinks. so we drove from Bayside to Astoria to get coffees. Sorry to say that it was disappointing. The barista’s are not friendly or attentive at all. And I will think before going back again.

Have gone twice now, and both times have been charged wrong and wrong drink was entered into system. Ironically by the same person both times.

First time, I ordered a small hot drink and was charged for a large iced drink. Had to correct the barista after it was rung up. I was not offered a refund for the difference, nor did I ask for it. And still left a 15% tip. Chalked it up to an honest mistake made late in the evening and could live with losing a dollar or two to a local business.

Second time, ordered iced pistachio cream latte. Barista asks how do you want this drink? I answered exactly how it’s usually made. Barista-Pistachio milk or syrup? I’m not sure of the question, I would like it however you usually make it, the standard recipe. Ok, proceeds to put ice cubes in a cup with a few pumps of syrup. And leaves the cup on the counter where I wait 7+ minutes for my one cup of iced latte. Grab the barista’s attention Hi, still waiting for my coffee? And sorry, but I think you rung it up wrong. I ordered the pistachio cream latte, not a 16oz iced latte and add pistachio syrup. Barista Oh, ok. You have to come back to the counter and pay the difference for the drink. Ok. I go back to the register where barista proceeds to charge me an extra $.33 for the difference in the drink prices.

But now I feel compelled to let them know this is the second time in a matter of days that they’ve screwed up my orders. And I’m now waiting 10 minutes for an iced latte. After all the back and forth I finally get the drink I ordered. The barista apologized by offering a complimentary pastry. However, I recommend to have a lot of patience and low expectations when...

I recently visited coffee lab and I must say, it's a refreshing addition to the local coffee scene! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how bright and spacious the space is. The natural light pouring through large windows, combined with the immaculate cleanliness, creates an inviting and uplifting atmosphere perfect for relaxing, working, or catching up with friends and that’s what I love To find in a cafe locally. What truly sets this place apart is its intriguing menu. Beyond the classic coffee offerings, they've curated a selection of unique beverages and treats that cater to adventurous palates. I tried the biscoff latte, which was a delightful sweet surprise perfectly balanced flavors and beautifully presented. It's clear the team here takes pride in crafting their offerings with care and creativity. The staff were friendly and extremely attentive from the minute I walked in, and during the hours I sat answering and checking my emails. The overall experience was pleasant and I’ll definitely be visiting frequently. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a new hangout spot coffee lab is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of...

If you're searching for a cozy spot that perfectly balances exceptional coffee and delicious pastries, look no further than The Coffee Lab is the spot for you! They offer a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it ideal for both solo coffee dates and catching up with friends.

The coffee is truly top-notch, with a menu ranging from classic espresso-based drinks to creative seasonal specials. Each cup is expertly crafted, showcasing the care and quality of their beans. The pastry selection is equally impressive. From flaky croissants to decadent cakes, everything tastes as though it was freshly baked.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend their favorite drinks or pastries. The ambiance complete with soft lighting and cozy seating.

Overall, I highly recommend this spot because it is a gem of a cafe, delivering both high-quality coffee and irresistible pastries in a delightful setting. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to visit...
