I've been here weekend (11am-3pm) and late weekday nights (9pm-12am).
This will be a review for the times that I have been here.
Weekend afternoons- Very laid back. There was an extremely charismatic bartender that provided tremendous service.
Weekday nights- They have sports, but this is not a sports bar. As a result, music and broadcast audio will alternate between commercial breaks. Depending on the availability of the bartender, you may miss some of the broadcast audio - NOT TERRIBLE, but minor annoyance. The nighttime bartender is wonderful too btw.
So... the staff is top notch, but what keeps this place from being 5 stars is the lack of food options and unusual seating choices around the bar. The tables in the bar would make more sense if it served food, but they're awkwardly placed and make watching big sports events here cumbersome. Really only a problem when it is busy.
It also points because it has a jukebox. A curated playlist develops better bar identity than a jukebox.

As another reviewer has said, this is the only place I've been where the staff has gone out of their way to learn my name & who I am, these guys genuinely care about this place. It's not huge but it is clean, they play good music (and important sports games when needed), they have a respectable liquor selection that is extremely reasonably priced. They even make these pretty damn good grilled cheese sandwiches whenever they're open. I don't often see the place packed with people, but many nights that's why I come here. I work late hours & oftentimes just want a place to stop for a Manhattan or two before I finish my walk home & man this place is so perfect for me in that respect. This place is very much worth...

I’m so disappointed. I’ve never felt so unwelcomed. I’ve never felt…..
So I walk into The Little Whiskey, I sit down, I’m wearing a Yankee hat as the only black man in the room. I was in this same situation, in this same room, during the 2024 World Series and I had so so so much fun, felt so welcomed but tonight…..
As an experienced bartender, I was so disappointed. Before taking a sip of my beer and after feeling bullied by patrons at this bar, I decided to leave.
I honestly was hoping that the bartender would restore order. Once I took 3 steps outside of the bar I realized that the only person who’s night was adjusted was my own; as if I was not welcomed to began with…..
I have so much more to say….it sucks to feel like nothing will change. If you’ve read this far into thus...
