BEST brevé I’ve ever had. This place has been here for 10-12 years. It makes it very comfortable and make me happy knowing the coffee I’m drinking is organic without anything that can harm my body. Mind you there are many organic brands that are organic but are not certified organic. They have direct relationships with the farms where they get their coffee from and can voucher for the authenticity of the source of the beans they are getting. They also have four slips here for you to get more information of the farms that they work with in order to deliver good quality harmless beans straight to your cup. Allows me to drink with a peace of mind. I love that they have vegan pastries options too, like chocolate chip scone, chai latte muffin, PB&J bar, peanut butter chunk cookie, tahini chocolate chip cookie. Although that could always have more options that are vegan for savory foods and other sweets I’m unaware of since this is my first time here. They have a nice little gift shop makes a perfect place to pick up something while you’re out if you’re needing to get a gift for someone. Like special cups, thermals. , tote bags. Atmosphere is chill, sometimes other places the music is WAY TOO LOUD but the music here was at perfect volume where it’s like background/atmospheric sound instead of trying to understand what the other is saying because you have to speak at the top of your lungs just to make sure you’re being heard type of sound, especially for a cafe in NYC let alone manhattan. But they have plugs outside too if you choose to sit during the warmer seasons. The cashier was SUPER sweet and had a beautiful smile. People inside were genuinely nice.

Genuinely so disappointed. I got the pesto mozz sandwich heated up and tell me how this sandwich is $11 and all it has is a thin spread of pesto and the most measly bit of mozzarella, DOUSED in chili flakes. I love spicy food but currently was avoiding it and I even let the barista know I was dealin with gum inflammation right now and wanted something safe. They suggested the sandwiches and to my surprise it literally has more chili flakes than pesto or mozz. I have never been so disappointed. The picture of the sandwich is after i tried to remove most of the chili flakes. The coffee here is also mediocre.

Better than average cup of coffee. The roasts are typically medium and are sourced from an array of South American and African countries hence, a 'blend'. You'll also notice a few baked items, in other words the unhealthy section. Finally, there's also a good selection of fine teas. The shop itself: Cozy and inviting environment with ample seating. Plus, it's right on the historic Bowery. If you're a tourist, I'd def recommend checking this place out. If you're a local, I also recommend stopping in. Basically, if you're a person, come on in.

This place has been around for 10-12 years, and it's the best brevé I've ever had. It's incredibly comforting and makes me happy knowing the coffee I’m drinking is organic and free from harmful substances. Although many brands claim to be organic, not all are certified. This café has direct relationships with the farms where they source their coffee, ensuring the authenticity of the beans. They even provide four slips of information about these farms, so you can learn more about the high-quality, safe beans that make it to your cup, giving you peace of mind.

I also love that they offer vegan pastries, such as chocolate chip scones, chai latte muffins, PB&J bars, peanut butter chunk cookies, and tahini chocolate chip cookies. While they could expand their vegan options for savory foods and other sweets, I’m impressed with what I’ve seen on my first visit.

The café has a charming little gift shop, perfect for picking up a gift while you're out, offering items like special cups, thermals, and tote bags.

The atmosphere is relaxed, unlike other places where the music is too loud. Here, the music is at the perfect volume, creating a background ambiance that allows for easy conversation without having to shout, which is rare for a café in NYC, especially in Manhattan. They also have outdoor plugs for those who prefer sitting outside during warmer weather. The cashier was incredibly sweet and had a beautiful smile, and the people inside were...

I ordered a small hot latte and was charged for a medium one. I gave the cashier $20 and he gave me back just under $10. When I returned in the afternoon, I realized that I had not received the correct change. I was more than sure I didn't waste any more money that morning. The new cashier charged me $6.80 for the medium one. I was so confused. Be sure to count your money before walking away from the counter. They are not welcoming either. Both times I was greeted with a cold stare and every time I said thank you no one responded or smiled. The coffee is decent, but not if you plan on taking my hard-earned money.

Update: February 6, 2024 Now their small hot latte costs $6.80. Make sure you take your time and know the price of the item before ordering.

It seems like the staff is taking the difference and putting it in their own pockets. Do people...
