I walked in here by chance since the restaurant I was headed to wasn't open. The venue itself is simply decorated, bright yet warm and welcoming. The cushioned chairs were comfortable to sit in. The doors were open so it wasn't as cool inside as I hope. I sat in the back so I could feel the air conditioning. The staff is friendly however there seemed to be some tension between them based on what they were saying. They assumed I didn't understand Spanish but I do and could hear them. My fettuccine alfredo was delicious as was my virgin mojito which one of the servers suggested. I would have liked a bit more flavor in my chicken maybe some salt (there was no salt on the table, just powdered garlic). The mojito was refreshing I asked for more sugar and it was perfect. I got a tiramisu to go and was pleasantly surprised. It was my first time having a traditional tiramusa. The cream is light and not too sweet and the espresso provided a nice contrast. The other patrons are friendly which added to the atmosphere. I met a lovely lady named Eva who said she had been going to the restaurant since 1994!

I've been eating at Tiramisu for years. The food has always been good and the service amazing. On Saturday Oct 12th 2024- I ordered take out from them (as I've done often since covid) Pasta (Spaghetti w/Clam sauce), a salad, and there was an option on the menu for "extra shaved parmesan cheese" and one option for "extra parmesan". I clicked the Extra shaved parm and paid an additional $2.50. The food arrives.. and instead of an Side of Shaved parm - I received 2 small containers of the powder parm --not shaved. I call Tiramisu. I tell them the situation and the manager argues with me for 10 mins..then finally agrees to send me some shaved parmesean (which I paid for) then starts to harass me - says "why are you making such a big deal about $2.50...I say I want shaved parm...he argues with me again and then refuses to send me the cheese and then calls me CHEAP. Unbelievable! I call him an "a-- ----(not proud of that) and hang up. I never got the cheese and the pasta is so overcooked I couldn't eat it. What happened to this beautiful restaurant???

Soooo...Tiramisu RESPONDED to this Review...saying that they don't offer shaved parmesean on the menu...Last Saturday night....It was ON THE MENU....I SAW IT. The manager I spoke to saw it....and was upset that I was "making a big deal about $2.50! He said that at least 3 times....And now....suddenly "shaved parmesean is NOT the menu. Yeah...its not now...but it was on Saturday night! Now Tiramisus is...

Manager showed passive-aggressive racial discrimination. The food was fine, and the wait staff was polite, but manager who helped at the end of the meal was very cold (while being very polite to people sitting at the next table), and added a tip that was over 18% even without informing me, for a party of three. I had been to that restaurant many times prior to the pandemic because it is close to my home, and never had that happen. (And in fact I always leave a generous tip at restaurants.) I asked the manager when the restaurant started adding tips automatically to checks for even small parties, to see if it is a new policy since the pandemic, but he just said he can take it off if I wanted, which is a clear indication the manager did it because of my racial background. I told him I was actually going to pay more, and then he asked if I wanted to pay extra on the card again. Of course, it is absolutely nothing compared to anti-Asian attacks that have been happening all around the country thanks to Trump, but it is still a microaggression. Won’t...
