I would give 0 stars if I could. This appointment was such a waste of my time. Not only did I have to wait 20+ minutes in each room to wait for him (I got there 15 minutes before the appointment). Just to meet with him for less than 2 minutes, in which he gave no diagnostic, didn't even get close to look at my skin. If I would've known I wouldn't have taken off half of my day at work. He asked no questions and simply said we couldn't get rid of my problem. Basically gave me a cream that said it could maybe work and had no solutions or interest in patient history/or experience with the condition whatsoever. No advice given besides the cream. Which I don't even know why he recommended if no questions were asked. He didn't even say what I had and he felt it was ok to joke around and say things about my bumpy skin condition. I could tell he was in a rush, dismissive, very uninterested, and condescending. What a waste of money and time! If you have any eczema/dry skin condition DO NOT come here. Nurse was super nice but I don't know how this guy can be...

I made an appointment for 1:30pm and I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time. I did not get a chance to see Dr Joshua Zeichner until 2:05pm. Prior to the Doctor coming in I had asked the nurse how much longer it would take, which I think is totally justifiable because of how long I had waited. I think the Doctor overheard that and felt some type of way. He came in and barraged with me questions. Before I could even answer the first one he asked another. Then at 2:13pm he told me this appointment is only for 15 minutes and he can only take one last question. I voice the feeling of being treated unfairly and he said he sense tension from me even from the beginning so its best to cut this appointment short.

I didn't feel like I received the treatment that I and my insurance company paid for.

Dr. Zeichner resolved my skin issues and continually offers me sound medical advice. The negative reviews are unjust, as they fail to reflect his expertise and intelligence as a physician. It's common for sought-after doctors in NYC to run a bit late, and this is not a circumstance unique to Dr. Zeichner. The fact that he has been featured in magazines is irrelevant and bears no relation to his profound understanding of dermatology - many eminent doctors participate in interviews with the press, and this should not be considered a valid or fair basis for a negative review.
