I love natural Pilates! It’s definitely one of, if not my favorite Pilates studio I’ve discovered in the UES area. Emily is a fantastic instructor and her classes are challenging (all levels class) in a good way. I always get a full body workout that pushes me and it’s extremely humbling. I love their range of equipment that so studios don’t have such as the Pilates chair. I like that natural Pilates is a balance of more classical techniques and also “fitness” Pilates. Every class is a different and I love trying out new moves I’ve never done before! Their classes are on the smaller side (10-12 I think?) and the instructors provide personal instruction and corrections.
Front desk staff are very friendly. The only thing is it is a bit pricey and they are not on ClassPass. I book through Mind Body app.
Amenities wise- 2 bathrooms, water machine, clean machines overall (could be deep cleaned a bit as I smelled some sweat smell the other day on...
Read moreI’m not going to lie… I was nervous to start reformer pilates. But Natural Pilates is the perfect studio to start! Each instructor gives specific technical feedback as needed for each person while efficiently running the 55 min group class. I was having some hip pain one class and the instructor swapped out some exercises and made sure to check in with me to make sure I was adjusting okay. I have the 4 class per month membership. Classes can be booked through their app and you can add the session to your calendar, and get text and email updates leading up to the class. The app also gives a little blurb about the instructors! My favorite instructors are Emily, Kat, Omil and Hannah. If I ever have questions the front desk is very friendly and helpful, and I’ve always had a good experience calling as well. I highly recommend...
Read moreI am relatively new to reformer Pilates and this is the second studio I've tried. From what I can tell, the classes are much more challenging than the other studios, but in a good way. I know when I come here I'm going to sweat and get a great workout. The facility and equipment is very nice and new. I prefer to come during the daytime when the studio is brighter, while in the evening it feels more like a club. I've been to the beginner and the all levels classes, both which feel equally challenging. The classes are fast-paced and if you've never done Pilates before it can be somewhat hard to figure out what to do, but the instructors are great and make sure to come around to correct your form, which I really appreciate. I didn't expect to like coming here as...
