Tony's Jamaica Market — Restaurant in New York

BUYER BEWARE! These people are racist and only serve their own Hispanic heritage people first and foremost. I’ve been here nearly every week for 2 years and the service was always spotty but today they really showed their truest colors serving their kind before me; changing line arrangements to suit their own kind. Even after I informed them that i arrived first and next to be served. No one else objected; they knew the truth. Then I was ignored (while they made their orders “secretly” speaking Spanish) and I was skipped until I made a stern complaint and accused them of racism to which they didn’t care to dispute! NEVER Ever again will I donate my hard working money to this tiny spaced, poorly stocked, poorly optioned, poorly serviced, dirty, self-righteous, discourteous, disrespectful, and racist-employed, overrated store. Too many options in a ONE BLOCK radius to deal with that ignorance and foolishness! A new deli JUST opened up 3 buildings north! BUYER BEWARE! and Good...

I have celiac disease and brought my own bread because I also have a wheat allergy and they made my sandwich for me with the bread I brought them :)) they took it no problem and made me two great sandwich’s for under 15$. They are super sweet. And extremely reasonable will definitely come again and recommend to people with food sensitivities or allergies. They are also are extremely heavy handed with the cold cuts. Gave me roughly 1/4 lb or a little more combined on both the sandwiches total....

Definitely the quality and service have both gone down hill since the original owner sold this establishment over a year ago. They don't even have the same products, it went from Portuguese to Hispanic. Long time customers of this store have since left and gone elsewhere since it was sold to one of the workers that had been working for the original owner. I'm so sorry the original owner wanted to retire and had no one in his family to carry...
