Best Greek food in the area. I am Greek and I make my own Greek food so when I go out to a Greek place to eat, I am a bit hard to please. Before I get into the food, the atmosphere was amazing! My girls loved the couches and the lights on the wall. The place is clean and the music is fitting. The service is amazing and Thanasi is great! What we ordered, calamari, Greek salad, chicken and rice soup (tasted a bit like Avgolemono), souvlaki skewers and rice, and sliders with fries. Before I get into the food, their tzatziki is THE BEST I have ever had in a restaurant. It’s similar to how I make it at home. It’s nice and thick and bursting in flavor. The calamari was cooked perfectly. It wasn’t chewy at all, super soft to eat. The Greek salad was perfectly cut and loaded with feta. It’s so hard to find a Greek salad in a restaurant that’s made right. Believe me, the way the veggies are cut and the amount of feta put makes a difference. The rice was bursting in flavor. I’m not sure what they put in it but if they gave me the whole pot, I would eat it. The French fries, I’m not a huge fan of fries but I kept stealing them from my husband. The way they were cooked and seasoned reminded me of the taverns in Greece. Whenever my husband orders them in the future, I’ll just have to steal them from his plate. The pork skewers were my favorite. The meat was tender and not a lot of fat (the way I like it). There was the perfect amount of meat on the skewer. The seasoning and the way they were cooked was perfection. I think they were charbroiled but I could be wrong but my gosh, get the pork skewers. My husband loved the sliders. They were juicy and cooked to perfection. I took a couple of bites and they rocked. The soup was good and my daughter loved it but when all the other food came out, she opted to eat that instead. We are took it to go for leftovers. Bonus points for having Greek beer! Mythos hit the spot. We will definitely be back, especially since their ballet is right across the street. Thank you for bringing great Greek food...
Read moreWent to dinner at Uncutt and the food here is really good. They are a slightly upscale Greek bar and grille and they have a variety of meats on the menu. They are slightly on the pricier side, but I think the food is deserving of it and you do get enough for leftovers.
My wife and I ordered some appetizers, including spanokopita, chicken tenders and fries, and a starter salad that all mixed nicely together. These three plates were almost too much food by themselves for us, so we took some home (which is a good value for the money, imo)
I ordered the burger, which is a big burger with thick, steak cut fries. The burger was delicious. Even though I was feeling full on the appetizers, I wolfed the burger down after I got going cause it tasted so good. I thought I was going to burst, but just the way the burger tasted was better than most burgers I've had.
I think Uncutt also serves some nice Greek beer at a cheap price during happy hour, so come through if you want to grab a drink and get some good meat dishes...
Read moreThis is truly a hidden gem. Walking in I almost thought let me walk out ...it was empty and didn't seem like a Greek restaurant. The bar vibe grew on me as we sat down and I realized it was actually a cool place. The host was super attentive. She made our drinks as we requested with top shelf liquor without even asking. I was so skeptical but the food was spectacular. Really trust me on this. Better than other Greek spots in the area. Greek salad sliders , Greek potatoes , shrimp with ouzo sauce all amazing. THIS PLACE IS A MUST. I do agree with one of the other reviewers place seems off bc it does not seem very Greek neither name or decor ...maybe a change would attract more people. Would love to see this place blow up. It was phenomenal and I will be...
