West village cafe & restaurant — Restaurant in New York

I always walked past this place but I finally got it after my workout today and I’m so glad I did. This was honestly some of the best food I’ve had in the west village (trust me, I’m from New York). On top of that, the service was amazing. This place was packed when I walked in to place a takeout order. Even so, the person working in the front made my food right in front of me in less than 5 minutes. The food carried well and tasted fresh when I got home. I got the chicken shawarma brussels bowl, which was so so so delicious. I’m glad I also got the hummus on top, because it was so creamy and paired so well with the other ingredients in the bowl. I’ll definitely come back to try the other items on the menu. Also, this place is so clean and there’s plenty of seating...

I’m so glad this spot opened up in the neighborhood! I had a great chicken kebab bowl yesterday (shown in pic.) Everything is SUPER fresh and tasty - very generous portions in my opinion. I’ve tried the chicken shawarma too and it’s soo flavorful. And I’ve got to say the falafel is the best I’ve ever had - I’ve never been much of a falafel person but here it is actually fantastic. I’ll definitely get it as an entree at some point. And their hummus is out of this world… I want it on everything. The team there is extremely kind and provide great service. Ill definitely be returning. This is definitely going to be a staple for me as a healthier...

Found this place completely by accident one night while we were looking for someplace to eat in the packed west village without the forethought of having a reservation. I didn't realize that we stumbled upon a hidden and reclusive gem in the heart of West village.

The food divine. The service impeccable. The ambience soothing. Millennials..i beseech you to come and have the mint tea. I promise, it will heal your existential crisis.

The service was so kind and gracious that it left me feeling that I was having a homecooked meal with loved ones that i havent seen in years.
