🔴BUSINESS CLOSED🔴
My daughter and I were shopping in Parkchester vicinity, so we decided to grab some lunch at Zaro's Bakery. As we entered we noticed at the right side there was a pizza shop, which I never even knew existed inside this place. Anyways, we ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and beverages. The place has a nice eating area, but the chairs are so hard, hey!! for the prices they have the audacity to charge, a nice cushioned seat would be fantastic and totally appreciated! I must say though that the pepperoni pizza exceeded my expectations, it was tasty!. We then decided to try a slice of their Manhattan Cake, I didn't like it at all, it was extremely cold, hard and looked old. My daughter ordered a Cannoli and I must say that she couldn't even bite into it! It was so hard; I thought I was going to have to take her to the dentist afterwards. They offer a variety of bagels, cakes, breads and cookies. Also coffee, salads and sandwiches. This is an "eat at your own risk" place. I'm in no way going to recommend you eat any of their baked goods. The overall appearance was good and it was very quiet. A few employees would benefit from an urgent course in customer service. Located within walking distance from transportation and Parkchester...
Read moreThey have very delicious choices and things are fresh. They just need to welcome all customers the same when one walks into the place. As of O6 - 2021 maybe before this date , they nolonger make the FABULOUS AS WELL AS TASTY , LOVELY PRUNE DANISH and or THE WONDERFUL FRUIT TARTS. I was told when I boldly asked, why are there none available , the disappointing answer was they do not sell much of them and they will not be coming back. I understand the business side of this and the financial loss. I do hope , that they would consider making a few of each, some of us that do appreciate the finer favorites of Zaro's at this Parkchester location would be very happy if you did this !!!!!!! Zaro's, would you please consider making a few of each ,you are very well known in the surroundings communities to make the most delicious Prune danishes and tasty...
Read moreDo not eat at this Zaros location. They treat black customers like trash. They talk badly about people in Bengali and assume no one understands. They mistreat one of their African American employees on the night shift and talk badly about his skin. They do not take your order correctly. They make whatever coffee they feel like making. I've been coming here for a few months and witness the racisms myself. They make racial remarks infront of people they are talking about in Bengali. There plenty of other better options around the area you can go to, this place isn't it. Beware of the 2 employees in the morning (Both short male/female) They are the worst. Smile in your face and talk badly about you in a different language. They keep reporting bad reviews to save-face. Going to save this review and keep posting it if they keep abusing...
