I've been going to this place since I was a kid. It was spring break and I took my kids to New Jersey in Newark to experience the best pizza, a true gem hidden within a concrete jungle blocks away from the glorious Branch Brooke Park. I've traveled all over Italy, but Frank's is pure nostalgia.. my childhood and I've only had a great experience there. When asked how many pizzas I've eaten there by my own kids, I counted my special trips to the library before my treat of pizza. 15 years worth... This is a must have while in Newark!

Recommended by a life long Newark New Jersian. I'm really going to have to take my New Jersey friends to Brooklyn who haven't been. The taste in Brooklyn and a couple spots in the city would wow you when it comes to pizza. Respectfully, this spot isn't it. I will tell you this, they got the crust right. It's crispy and perfectly cooked. I love a crispy, soft on the inside crust. No complaints there. The cheese and sauce on thee other hand needs work. A little salty if you ask me. The lady who took my order was very nice. This is just not on the level of food that I'm personally use to. Will not return.

Called and asked what would you put in a stuffed vegetarian pizza he said peppers onions and mushrooms..I said ok il have that….they send me a regular pizza with the toppings outside…smh I specifically asked you what would you put in a vegetarian “Stuffed Pizza” …Key word “Stuffed”….damn near $30 for my dissatisfaction…Then he says” O we don’t sell stuffed pizza “ Why didn’t you say that when I asked you about it and took my Order…must be just about the money…I’m very disappointed Frank..I thought you were my neighbor hood pizza spot…I GUESS NOT!!!!

They DO NOT have parking! Although it may look like they do with a beat up sign in a parking lot. It is not the pizzeria. My car got booted because of this. I have spent two hours trying to get my car booted out. In those two hours, two other customers from Franks pizzeria got booted as well. They really don’t care about this. You guys are really going to end up loosing many customers. More than you probably already did. The manager also said that the price that they charge to boot is a scam. $400 in cash only.

I love Frank's pizza. It's my favorite pizza of all time. Especially when eating it on the spot, where the pizza is fresh out of the oven, and the pizza has that crisped and semi crunchy bottom layer. And the garlic knots to compliment the pizza with their homemade juice on the side. I remember as a child, my father would bring me here and spend time with me. Always a staple to the community for everyone that grew up here. Awesome place with a great staff and even better food.

1st the baked ziti was horrible watery too much cheese 2nd they should post a sign on the side of the building saying that the parking lot was not theirs. As i walked up to the door i noticed a small sign that say( lot not ours) by the time i turned around to go back to my car it had a boot on it which cost me $400 cash up-front 😡The pizzeria should look out for their customers....never going back
