I was hopingng more simple and varied fish options, but settled on the swordfish to avoid walking aimlessly through town in search of this. The fish wasnt bad, but it wasnt grilled (as per the menu), it was done on the griddle (fried-ish?), which was disappointing. to their credit, it was simply made and not overdone/overseasoned. I chose rice/beans instead of veggies and the black beans were okay..but the rice 🤮 (what is it with the ironbound and parboiled rice vs fresh steamed rice?!?!) . Service at the bar was friendly and quite attentive with several waitresses keeping an eye if we needed anything. Hopefully you speak Portuguese or Spanish though... The octopus with onions, peppers and potatoes is better than most, and a well known favorite here, when available.
