Taqueria Morelos — Restaurant in Newark

This wasn't it. I came here following all the good reviews on this place, and I have to say, I was far beyond disappointed on here. I don't know if maybe this place just had a change of ownership or what, but the food was just not it. Definitely do not match the reviews I read from a few months ago. I ordered tacos, pastor, chicken, and meat, and to say the very least, my chicken taco still had the water on the taco from the can where my chicken came from. Like geez, at least open the can on the grill and let it warm up on the grill, not inside the can itself, and then pick it out, and place it in my tacos..

It's definitely not the place for tacos or burrito. It was 3 of us, and we were all disappointed with the quality of food we received.

The drinks were good, and the cups style was very nice.

The place its very tiny, tables and chairs are very close together so expect to be sitting...

I just want to start by saying this place has One of the best thin hand made tortillas i have ever had on a taco, just WOW also one of the only places that i been to that serves you four tacos in a order instead of three, I got me one order of lengua tacos and another of pastor, both very well season, lengua was a little different then what i have had in other places, it felt like it was mix with beef steak and not lengua alone, but it was good still, the only reason i give it four starts is because the salsas had no flavor and you can’t have a good taco without...

It’s a clean, cozy place. Covered parking for customers, on a busy street is great. The food is delicious and yes as mentioned before, the hot sauces are delicious. The waitress made mistake as quadripuled the order, but the owner who happened to be dining there at the same time, came and confirmed that he heard that I had ordered only one portion. And fixed the issue right away. Definitely I recommend this authentic and sincere restaurant...
