Queen Pizza II — Restaurant in Newark

I brought my mom here for pizza. I ordered a small pizza. On the board it said 13.95. When I asked what the most popular pizza was he said pepperoni and listed off some options with pepperoni. I chose the meat lover. He didn't tell me there was extra charge for it. When I went to pay, one of the workers said something to the cashier in Spanish and then he said that'll be 24.60. I said wasn't it 13.95? Even on the board extra meat said $3 extra. And he said with the extra meat it was 24.60. Really disappointed. Service was slow when we came in with only 2 other customers. I understand that they need to make money but doing this to customers that look like tourists is not justice. We were having a good mother daughter time otherwise and liked the service. The pizza was also big. But to not warn customers of the cost and just make up your own when paying is not right. I came because the reviews were good but be warned they'll take advantage of you. The customer service was very lovely. You can tell they do okay for themselves in that when I came in there was a nice percent of customers there given the guidelines that must be followed. People were sitting and eating, someone had to use the bathroom, and I was getting my order to go which took less then 10mins. This place is very wonderful gentle staff plus they have been around since 1980s friendly staff friendly neighborhood an the food is so amazing for the price I got it at I save on my buck an also get full ever time I just wanna say last but not least the place is very clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️and well maintenance the manerger is very easy going an also have great workers under him I’m sure they learn a lot from him thank you queen pizza for giving me a once an a life time experience definitely greatly appreciated I will stop by an eat every time I’m in the city thanks again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ sincere yours...
