If Disappointment Had a South Indian Flavor… 🌶️

Where do I even begin? Went to this place hoping for a comforting Dosa lunch but left with a full plate of regret. First red flag? A nearly empty restaurant on a Saturday afternoon—should’ve taken the hint and run.

Let’s start with the service (or lack thereof): after placing our order, we waited... and waited... and waited some more. I’ve seen dosa batter ferment faster than that service.

Then comes the catch—they have the audacity to charge a dollar extra for masala, only to serve a sad, dry, inconsistent scoop that felt like it came from yesterday’s leftovers. We got different amounts—was this some kind of dosa roulette?

Craving chutney or sambar refills? Be prepared to summon the Avengers. Getting a server’s attention felt like a full-time job, and when they finally showed up, they served it like it was liquid gold—stingy portions, barely enough to dip a corner.

Oh, and let’s not forget the onion rava masala dosa—easily the thickest one I’ve ever had. Aren’t these supposed to be crispy and light? This one needed its own gym membership.

Honestly, I’d take Madras Idly Kadai or Rameshwaram Cafe any day—better service, better taste, and actually worth the money.

Moral of the story? If a restaurant is empty during peak lunch hours, there's probably a reason. Won’t be making this mistake twice. Unless this place does a full-on makeover, it’s a hard...

We tried the Masala Dosa and Upma combo here. Overall, the place is decent, but the experience was mixed. • The dosa was unfortunately very dry, slightly too salty, and quite hard, which made it difficult to enjoy. • The upma, on the other hand, was flavorful and the highlight of the meal. • The ambience could use some improvement—the place looks a bit worn out and could benefit from a refresh.

Feedback for management: Improving dosa quality (texture and salt balance) and updating the ambience would really elevate the...

We visited this restaurant for dinner on Tuesday night. The restaurant was empty, seating was fast. Service was prompt and fast. Mini Idli sambar and curry leaf idly were served nice and hot. Sambar and chutneys were flavorful. Curry leaf powder + ghee smeared on the ghee had a nice punchy flavor. Overall happy with the food. Will come back to try Dosa if and when I am...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had Idli here and absolutely loved it! The idlis were super soft, fluffy, and served fresh. The sambar was flavorful with the right balance of spice and tang, and the chutneys were delicious and authentic. Presentation was clean and served on eco-friendly plates, which was a nice touch. A perfect spot for a wholesome South Indian breakfast. Highly recommended!

Happened upon this place by chance, was recommended the Madurai Malli Dosa. I can happily report that it was scrumptious and gigantic. Also ordered the mango lassi which was made fresh. Don’t let the sparse decor turn you away. It’s worth a shot.
