Java The Hut — Restaurant in Newberg

I gave quite a few opportunities before writing this review. It's actually excellent coffee, so it's a bummer I'm having to leave not a five-star review. I'm sitting in front of the shop right now over an hour before they "close", and the shop is closed. Listen, I understand if you don't have the help to run the place, but there's no update of hours on Google, no sign on the door, nothing. This is the 5th time this has happened in less then a month, and I'm not a fan of wasted time as a very busy individual, If I had all this time to waste then I would just make coffee at home. Will unfortunately be checking out other local coffee...

Whitney is the kindest barista I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her americanos are the absolute best in town, always the perfect drinking temperature. When we moved a couple years ago, I had to find a new coffee stand and this was recommended to me by a coworker whose husband had been going for years and loved it. I’m so glad that I took that advice. I often need a second cup of coffee in the morning during the dark months, and after two years of seasonal attendance on my part, Whitney still remembers exactly how I like my drink. 11/10...

Good coffee, but make sure that you check how much you are charged on the credit card versus what you are told or see on the menu. Coffee was listed for $3.80, barista told $4.00, and card was charged $4.19 when I checked later (no receipt provided). These are all pennies but if you are not honest with small things, how can you be trusted...
