Muchas Gracias Mexican Food — Restaurant in Newberg

Newberg muchos has for the most part been a solid lunch choice for me over the years as far as quantity and quality goes.

This could have been 5 stars, however on Friday the 18th, 2019 at around 8:30pm my co worker and I walked in for lunch. There were two girls working drive thru and front end of the store. These girls alone offset all the good that has been in my previous experiances at muchos. I'll be more than happy to change this to 5 stars when I see change is made.

I'm just going to say that these two girls need some serious customer service coaching. My coworker and I have had to deal with one of them (appears to run the show at night) numerous times. Each time we leave asking ourselves how she even works there when she obviously does not want to be there. She tends to throw shade at customers, when we go through the drive thru, we have a good laugh watching her play on her phone in front of your big sign saying "stay off phone in front of customers". I could give a few more details but overall, her concern for your customers appears to be zero, and we notice this consistently.

Please take some action because my coworker and myself will both be going elsewhere if we notice those girls are working as we simply do not want to deal with their bullsh@%. I can see you have several recent Google reviews already going over this same issue. I truly believe you will continue seeing this trend until some corrective action is taken.

P.s. the new hot sauce policy is B.S.

Items are limited to two cups each? That might have worked had you not started using sauce cups 75% smaller... one cup of hot sauce is basically two bites on a burrito... good grief. Plus you want .25 cents per extra cup? Pass.

update Had a great time sitting in the drive thru for 10 minutes with no response when I asked if anyone was there several times. Had to skip eating on my lunch break. Low and behold, it looked like the same girl who threw me and my coworker shade the first...

Muchas! You finally crawled your way up from 1 star to 5 stars! Another order for my favorite fish tacos is correct and the lime was included. Seriously, way to go! 🎉👌 . Another star added! They got my order of fish tacos correct and included a lime slice. Keep it up, Muchas! :) . Up a star for getting my order correct! . Order was right but no lime. My star rating will neither move up or down. (x2) .

They finally got my order right and it came with a lime. I’ll add a star for every time they get it right (and take one away for every time it’s wrong). . . . Update: 1 star. I was being gracious the last time they got my order wrong. But now, I’m just hangry. . . .

Inconsistent at best.

Three stars because the prices are great and when they get your order right, the food is good.

The problem is, they’ve gotten my order wrong on multiple occasions (maybe they need a new drive-through speaker?). I wish they had online ordering. I think that would help with getting orders correct.

The food quality is also inconsistent. Sometimes it’s great, other times disappointing, and often times missing something (like my lime slices for my fish tacos please!).

I have sent in comments on their website (because I like to do that before I leave a less than stellar review), but haven’t had any follow up and haven’t noticed any...

Stopped by last night to get 2 shredded beef tacos and 2 shrimp tacos. I had the shrimp tacos before, they were generous with the shrimp, but, oddly the tacos had cheese on them, and nothing else. Did not realize this until I got the order home. Last night I asked for no cheese, and asked for lettuce, onion, tomato, and cilantro on the side. When I got home with the order, everything was there, except for the cilantro, in place of the tomatoes was pico de gallo, which was very good. This time, the actual shrimp taco itself had some kind of rice mixture on it. I thought, good grief, what is really supposed to actually be on these tacos anyway? I guess the person who prepares them doesn't know either. So, I pulled the rice mixture off, seperated the shrimp from the rice, and that is when I discovered why you put the rice on the taco in the first place. There was a total of 6 shrimp, 3 for each taco. That means, to me, that you had run out of shrimp, and used the rice as a filler. I was not happy, at all that this is what you chose to do. It also was not what I ordered. 3 shrimp per taco?!! Wow...and by the way, what is supposed to to be on this taco? Very...
