Middle street foods has been through generations of excellent food and service to Newburyport and surrounding towns. This newest generation is spot on for awesome made here from scratch every day kinds of foods. The standard breakfast sandwich is a keeper! With a homemade in-house English muffin… Can’t beat it. The baked goods are to die for, and coffee is yummy! Don’t miss this place. it’s just a smidge off the main street. Turn down middle Street folks you won’t be disappointed.

i just found a lovely healthy breakfast and lunch spot in Newburyport-- the owner Emma is passionate about food and the spot is just so lovely spot from the main street-- my food was so amazing on this Saturday afternoon-- a subtle tuna fish sandwich on sliced piece of fresh french bread -- healthy and heavenly in this quiet spot🫶

4 or 5 tables to eat inside and about the same outside. Funky little spot. Menu was great. You can tell they put a lot of thought and love into the food and drinks! We got the breakfast sandwich w ham and a croissant for my 1 year old who loved the place. Made from scratch!

The chicken salad was absolutely tasteless. Prices were high. This place tried hard for a "lah-dee-dah" air. The young short woman behind the counter with thick dark hair scolded me for touching the glass. I'm not kidding or exaggerating. Later, when I stacked dishes and cleared them off (as a favor), instead of saying "thank you", she barked that I should put them in the bin. She was extremely smug, self-assured and rude, treating me like a toddler instead of a 58-year-old. When I was her age, I always treated older people with respect. People like her give her generation a bad reputation. Thank God not all young people are rude and smug like that. I will...

Middle Street Foods is a hidden gem! Their English muffin bread is hands down the best I’ve ever had—fresh, soft, and packed with flavor. It’s a must-try. The chicken salad sandwich is the only one I’ll eat at a restaurant—it’s always made perfectly and full of tasty, wholesome ingredients.

The restaurant is spotless, and the clean, welcoming atmosphere makes it a great spot to enjoy a meal. The staff is also fantastic—super funny and friendly, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the visit.

If you're in the area, don’t miss out on the English muffin bread and the chicken salad sandwich. Highly...

We’ve never had a bad meal at Middle Street Foods plus the service is quick and pleasant. It’s not a big place, or fancy with a lot of seating but finding a table isn’t usually a problem and the food is worth waiting for. Most orders are to go so that helps. Even better when we can sit at an outside table in the summer!! They also feature local artists work on the walls which shows community support. Highly recommend Middle Street 👍🏻 As a side note you’ll have to find parking on a local side street. Again, not an...
