Three staff employees was on their cell phone texting, while customers were in front of them waiting. I place my order and the young lady who waited on me had her ear pod in her ear and still got my order wrong. I was upfront waiting for my number to be called. I observed by hearing my order being worked on and again it came out wrong after correcting it twice.
Tables are not cleaned.
No music or anything playing in the dining area.
The ice in both machines were out. I told one of the lady workers and she said ok. After 30min observing, still no ice restocked.
The staff was out of any branding uniforms and hair not pulled back. Unprofessional.
A small child was walking out from the kitchen yelling they had to go potty. Obviously a workers child, Workers were yelling at each other.
It was not worth asking for the overcharge $2.00 back from when she took the wrong order.
This store needs help to get it back up to standards.
Unfortunately, while I was sitting in a booth in the back, the few customers that were coming in and out were complaining of it not being cleaned and the poor service.
Food was prepared and good. I mystery shop often. I was disappointed.
It wasnโt until 40min later a worker came back to me to offer the cash difference of $2.15 back to me from the overcharge with my order. Yet I never received the money.
4:53pm I gave my order. As of 5:32pm Iโm in the back dining hall and can hear the staff yelling. Sill no one came back with my cash difference after she asked me if I would want it back instead of another menu item. Though it isnโt about the money, it is about the principle and the customer service, which was a fail.

ย ย ย Read moreTonight 28 July, 2019, I pulled into the drive through line at 9:00. I was greeted through the intercom that they were out of some food items. I said that was OK, and proceeded with my order. After ordering I pulled forward behind 4 there vehicles. By 9:25 I was still 3rd. in line, and the line showed no sign of moving. I then backed out of line, and pulled around to the front of the store. I went inside and asked what the problem was with the service. The staff member that was at the window, informed me that there were only 2 people in the kitchen, and the vehicle at the window had placed an order of over $60.00. I then asked why didn't she window attendant ask the customer to pull into a parking space while her order was completed. I was informed that the customer was asked to do so. She refused to comply. I then asked if my order had been cooked, and was informed that it hadn't. I then canceled my order, and turned to leave. After leaving the store, I approached the customer still at the window, and asked why the customer refused pull forward to give the customers behind a chance to get their orders. The Window attendant then told me that I didn't have the right to ask that question. (She was out of line.) I then turned to return to my vehicle to leave. Another employee from inside the store came into the parking lot to take a picture of my vehicle as I left. This incident has caused me to reevaluate my further business with this particular Captain D's John...
ย ย ย Read moreI don't really go to Captain D's that often (only been there 3 times in my life), but the last time I went was honestly a blessed experience. I was on my school lunch break with the boys, and we decided to switch it up. We drove on down to Captain D's as soon as we got out of class, and headed on through the doors. I was greeted by the sweetest old lady I've ever met (outside of my family, of course). I told her I wanted the butterfly shrimp, and just like that, she put in my order. I paid 9 dollars for my meal and my food came out nice and quick. My friends and I sat down at a big table, and let me tell you, when I saw my food, it was like God was smiling down on me that day. Looking at the shrimp, hushpuppies, and fries made my mouth water. I couldn't wait any longer. I got me some cocktail sauce and began to dig in. Within minutes, I had emptied the to-go box. The shrimp was nice and crispy, the hushpuppies were very good (and I don't even like hushpuppies!), and the fries were fried to the right consistency, crisp and golden brown. When I left Captain D's and headed back to school, I felt so enlightened to be able to go to such an amazing restaurant. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a fancier fast-food...
