So about two weeks ago I came into this location for the 3rd time since this location opened and for the 3rd time was highly disappointed because the consistency of flavor that I’m used to in other locations wasn’t what I received at the newnan location. On the 3rd visit my wife suggested I let leadership know. I called and asked to speak to the manager and the you g lady asked why I wanted to speak to him😐. He eventually got on the phone and showed compassion and concern for my issue and even instructed the worker to put my name Into the computer and to ask for him (Reggie)when I came. I told him I wasn’t interested in free food but I really love the restaurant and the fact that one is in my neighborhood is everything. So today 7/27/21 I decided to stop by to meet Reggie. I walk in and ask for him and the lady asked why I wanted to see him😐. I told her he asked me to come see him, she went to the table he was meeting with someone at and I’m assuming relayed my message. As she went to Reggie her co workers begin to voice how she was rude to ask why I wanted to see him. Reggie came over as if I was bothering him and asked what was wrong with my order. I tried my best to remind him of the conversation and that he instructed his people to put my name into the computer. He stated ohh they didn’t do it right 😐😐😐😐 I quickly realized it’s not the age of the employees or the cooks. It’s the store manager acting like the owner screening calls and not being in the face of the receptionist who did not want to be there, the cooks who don’t know the consistency of the juicy crab way, or the customers who were taken to their tables by people who were ready to go home. Leadership is everything and this really sucked. I simply told him never mind I’m not hungry and proceeded to spend $147 at Red Lobster🤷🏽♂️ Reggie...
Read moreI always come to this juicy crab, but this experience was horrible. Our server was very inattentive and we felt like we really didn’t get serviced at all. The food was horrible. We felt like the food was definitely less than what we usually get. I always get the #11 and the food portion was noticeably less. I called the manager to discuss this issue and he brought me more shrimp and muscles. We then noticed are food was extremely cold and lukewarm, and also lacked sauce. We called our server to get are food heated up and she seemed extremely annoyed(I would be too but if we had proper food we wouldn’t be complaining). After she took are food it took her about 10min to bring the food back out and by that time me and my party was annoyed and said we just wanted our checks and to speak with the manager. The manager ended up taking care of our tab, which was nice. The reason for this review is the fact that we were treated as if we were being annoying for speaking up about food that was not good and overpriced. I will definitely not be back to this establishment and will be driving further if I crave seafood in the future.
Edit: I’ve been back and they...
Read moreMy husband and I went to dinner on Valentine's Day. We understand it was a busy night but the quality of the food and service was not good. They had a special for couples which was nice but we did not choose that option. We have eaten here plenty times and order the seafood combo without sausage, but the server said no substitutions. Ok. My husband ordered a drink from the menu which they did not have. It was substituted and had tons of ice in it when he asked for the drink straight. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer and it was terrible. It was over battered, over fried, and barely edible. It tasted old or refried more than once. The marinara sauce for it also wasn't good. The seafood combo is why we go and tasted as it should, but the overall experience was subpar (quality of food and service). We did not say anything to the server because it really didn't seem as if she would have cared anyway, with what she was saying to other tables, her demeanor and overall lack of asking if we enjoyed our meals. She only asked if we needed anything else. We will not be visiting this...
