Tried numerous times to speak to manager Reta Moore with no luck. Her staff said she was busy or in mtg or such all day which is bold face lies because a couple of times she was talking the CTCA where they mentioned they talked to her and she was to call me. CTCA said she had an exterminator come out and he seen nothing (BS) she also said there were know pics from me (which I do have) but an front office clerk seen them named Marcel. My last call there, they said she left or the day with no concern for me and my family.. if my belongings had that I cannot bring into my house are not compensated for further action will take place. For me to be a cancer patient who has no hair and bit on head and back in 4 places which I have photos for. Utterly disgusting place to stay!!!!! Obviously, this is not the first time with bedbug issues there. Found this review further down.
Jordan J wrote a review Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Newnan, GA Jun 2018 Bed bugs and terrible management Words cannot express how terrible my experience with this hotel was. We stayed for two nights and the second night we found a bed bug. We caught the bug and showed it to the manager. She said she was trained and quickly dismissed it as a baby roach or something else. We kept the bug and took it to two different pest control companies that verified that it was a bed bug. They had the room inspected and the manager told me that they found something, but they couldn’t tell exactly what it was. I was able to find out through other sources that they found more bed bugs in the room. The manager was too worried about the $1,500 per room fee they have to pay to clean it. If we would have listened to her we could have taken the bed bugs back to our house. They refunded my stay, but have yet to even contact me about reimbursing the cost of my laundry to clean my clothes that were in the room. The manager was nice sometimes, but rude and accusatory at other times.
Enough with the bed bugs, here were other problems with my stay. People were smoking right outside of the hotel door and the smell was coming into my room. We got a roll away bed and they didn’t tell me until after I checked in, even though I called and talked to them about it, that it cost an extra $10. The roll way had sand in the sheets. There was someone vaping by the pool while my kids...

This hotel is convenience to Newnan hospital, across the street from Walmart and looked to be a clean hotel. However, in staying here March 24, 2025, the hotel has a bad smell that resonates through the rooms, we were told due to the lake in the back. Going from Winter to Summer the air conditioner builds up condensation which causes the smell. So we tried to be understanding and deal with the smell, however in that moment, we went into bathroom and found a roache, yes a roache on the bathroom sink, they told us they had just had exterminator out and that's probably why the roache was there...yea right!! We asked for a new room, because we were told we could not get a full refund due to booking with a 3rd party... so we settled to be moved. Once moved to another room, the smell was just as bad. We were there for one night, so we said, "we will make it work" only to finally settle in for the night and pull back the sheets to find stained sheets. The sheets appeared to have bed bugs blood on them, however we were told they weren't bed bugs blood, the sheet just somehow got stained!! UNEXCEPTABLE!!!!! Who pay a hundred dollars a night to have stained sheets that look like blood. It was crazy, we called the front desk person over to look. Her response, "oooo it's just a stain" while she's on the phone talking to her boss. Can you believe this hotel DID NOT want to refund money for our room because they said we approved of the second room; which we had no idea had stains sheets that appeared to look like bed bugs blood. It was at bed time getting in bed that we saw the stains and yet the hotel still tried to justify the situation instead of admitting their wrong and giving us our money back. Now we've learned in giving us a refund, would have made it clear the hotel were at fault and they didn't want that so they refused to refund us!! Wr called the third party company, had them call the hotel and they still refused to refund, said we took the second room...sad people aren't into customer service that we have to write reviews so others know!! PEOPLE POST REVIEWS TO HELP OTHERS KNOW WHAT IS GOOD, BAD, ABOUT PLACES ONE MAY SPEND THERE HARD EARNED MONEY, reason for this review!! DO NOT BOOK HERE!🚫🚫🚫🚫THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU DO! OUR EXPERIENCE HERE WERE NOT A GOOD ONE! THE HOTEL ISN'T WORTH IT!! There's a Marriott next...
Read moreI am writing to provide feedback on my recent experience at your hotel and to bring to your attention several issues that require immediate attention.
This past weekend, I booked Room 301 for my sister and her husband, who were visiting from Detroit. I was looking forward to their stay, as I am a Choice Rewards member and have enjoyed visiting many Choice Hotels from Jacksonville, FL to Detroit, MI. I had two reservations for this visit—Thursday night (1 night) and Friday through Sunday (2 nights). I will list the reservation numbers at the bottom of this email.
Upon arrival, I had the pleasure of checking in with Spencer, who was both hospitable and knowledgeable, providing helpful information about the hotel. His professionalism was a highlight of the experience.
Unfortunately, several issues overshadowed this positive first impression:
Condition of Linens – Upon entering the room, the hallways and room smelled acceptable, and I initially had high hopes. However, the towels and washcloths that were provided as “clean” appeared dingy and unclean. I requested replacements from a housekeeper in the hallway and used my own spray to refresh the room and circulate air through the A/C.
Pest Infestation – On the second night, my sister and her husband discovered a large German cockroach in their bathroom. Given that this was on the 3rd floor, this strongly suggests a larger pest control issue within the property. I have attached photos for your reference.
Front Desk Response – On Saturday morning, I reported this issue to the front desk associate on duty (8/9 morning shift, light-skinned male). Unfortunately, he displayed no empathy, offered no room change, and seemed indifferent—as though this was a common occurrence. When I asked about the hotel’s pest control measures, I received no reassurance or details.
These experiences were both disappointing and concerning, especially as I had been considering your property for a large family booking next month for an upcoming celebration. Based on this stay, I no longer feel confident recommending your hotel to my family or friends.
Recommendations for Improvement:
Upgrade and ensure the cleanliness of all linens before they are placed in guest rooms.
Increase and maintain consistent pest control throughout the property.
Retrain certain staff members on customer service and how to appropriately respond to guest concerns.
I truly hope you will address these issues promptly to improve guest experience for...
