8.95 Lunch special... had a lot of options. I got the drumsticks, friend got the tenders. Came with fries or fried rice.
Chicken is A+ excellent. We arrived too early; I think the oil was still warming, so the chicken took a little bit to come out. Totally worth the wait.
Chicken skin and the sauce combined to crystalize into a hard crunchy shell of flavor... the chicken on the leg was juicy and tender... and so very hot. It burned me a little, but it was too good to stop eating. Leg was nicely sized... it was not a glorified wing... roughly the same size as a leg off a Costco chicken.
Tenders were... huge hunks of breast meat. They were roughly the size of a thigh each... so each one was a half breast or so in size. Definitely not nuggets... all of the meat fibers were intact.
Fries are better than they have right to be... kind of a straight version of a curly fry. We wished one of us had gotten the fried rice to try it. Another customer got it and it looked quite good.
I don't have a downside twist... the place was straight up good. They are one of those flavored tea places, which is not something I enjoy, so no review of that... but the chicken is phenomenal. More than well worth the $8.95. ‐--‐--‐--------‐---- Update: the cost of the lunch fried chicken meal is now 9.95. Still totally worth... probably one of the best deals in town for what you get. The fried rice was as good as expected. If you order online... earliest pickup is 1145. ...
Read moreI was excited to try this place, as we don't have a Korean chicken restaurant nearby. I made sure to stop by on opening day.
I had a safe choice; Soy garlic chicken wings with fries. The wings were phenomenal. They deliver a satisfying crunch with every single bite, and they are larger than the average chicken wing. The flavor of the sauce was perfect. The breading was yummy and had an amazing texture that pleased the pallet. This is proper Korean chicken. The fries were also good, and crunchy as well, yet nice and soft on the inside. You could say they were ideal fries.
The staff was super kind, and they prepared my order in a timely matter. I will update this review later, as I am determined now to try some of their drinks! They have a great selection of teas on their menu.

I will be back here very soon.

Read moreMy friend and I stopped by here for lunch. I was excited to try a Korean fried chicken place south of Atlanta. My friend and I ordered and shared the soy garlic fried chicken and an order of tteobokki. The fried chicken was average, but good enough if you're not in the mood to make a drive to the north of Atlanta. My friend and I shared the small 8 piece chicken set, some of the wings were kind of small. The tteobokki was pretty good. We also got teas, I got the Thai Milk tea with boba and my friend got the Lychee green tea with popping boba. Again these drinks were pretty good, probably the best I have had outside of North Atlanta. The service was very fast since we went at an odd time and the employees were nice. The food was good enough! I would probably come back especially...
