This Hampton Inn location was not up to par considering that Hampton Inn is a representation of Hilton. Though the grounds were well kept, my room was not. I was appalled at the condition of the bathtub in my room. The bathtub in room 110 which I could tell had been resurfaced at some point, was peeling all over and some sections were even lifting from the tub surface. I also notice that there were some screw holes on the wall in the room area that were not filled in and repainted. However, what was MOST APPALLING was the argumentative response of the front desk associate when I mentioned the condition of the tub at checkout. Instead of acknowledging the issue and taking note, she found every reason to JUSTIFY why the peeling tub was not a big deal. She carried on telling me about how some of the tubs are like that, and how the hotel is old, and how you can't compare a hotel room to home, and how hotel owners dont want to invest in older hotels and so forth. Does she not know that people consider hotels a "home away from home"By the way, the following was said after I approached her and she got the earpiece out of her ear, and after she answered the desk phone while I was in the middle of trying to speak with her about the concerns that I had. Let's be real; answering the phone without acknowledging our conversation first was downright disrespectful! IN CONCLUSION, due to the following events I will never, ever stay at this location again. First impressions are everything, and I don't have to deal with some comfortable and argumentative associate telling me in so many words that "it...
Read moreThe current state of this location necessitates a timely and thorough upgrade, as well as a heightened focus on meticulousness in housekeeping practices. Upon entering the room, I immediately detected a lingering musty odor reminiscent of prolonged closure. The individual manning the reception desk displayed a high level of regret and assured me that they would document my concerns for managerial review. Additionally, they kindly inquired if I desired a room change, to which I politely declined and instead informed them of my intention to purchase an air freshener for the current room and carpets look old and dingy. Prior to retiring for the evening, I meticulously examined the bed linens, meticulously pulling them back in search of any potential indications of the presence of bed bugs. To my utter astonishment, I discovered that the mattress cover exhibited conspicuous blood stains, in addition to displaying a visibly unappealing, unsanitary, and aged appearance. Upon arrival, I promptly proceeded to the front desk where I presented the video evidence. Subsequently, the staff member promptly facilitated my relocation to an alternative room. However, prior to accepting the offered accommodation, I meticulously inspected the bed linens, which were found to be in satisfactory condition.
Having previously experienced a stay at this establishment and thoroughly enjoying it, I am astounded by the rapid deterioration of hotel rooms when proper maintenance and cleanliness protocols...
Read moreNice looking hotel. I loved my room, the bed and pillows were so comfy. There was a lot of room and some to me felt like wasted space, unless you’re staying a long while. The “kitchenette” was lacking a stove and pots and pans. They said you could get those things at the desk but seemed to be too much trouble. The pool looked inviting but it rained every evening I was there except the last day when I realized the pool was in the shade. I would’ve liked for it to be in the sun. There was a dirty plate, the shower head needed to be cleaned and there was a hair on the desk. The shower had a dispenser for shampoo and body wash but no conditioner. There was a little mold in the bath tub which I was bummed about because I so wanted to soak in the tub. It was quiet, there weren’t a lot of people running up and down the halls and come to think of it, I didn’t hear anyone in the halls. The only think I heard were the people upstairs who apparently just walk heavy but it wasn’t that annoying. Every person that I ran in to that worked there was super nice and said hi every time we met. Oh and let me tell you about the breakfast. I was expecting rubbery eggs and packaged gravy, well there was none of that. All week I had a frittata and toast for breakfast. The best breakfast ever. Which is the reason they got a 5 star rather than a 4 star. I would definitely stay there again if I’m...
