First i would like to commend the two black young ladies that was working today and for there honesty... they were very professional far more than there owner/manager. .... I had awful experience with the store manager first time ever going to this location ....just a brief summary .....i made a purchase around $32-$36 after waiting two hours to get my order in because no one would answer the phone, forced me to drive to the location thinking I had the wrong number, after receiving my order i realized two of the four of my plates were wrong (i wont stretch details to long ) so i called advised the young lady i had received the wrong order on one and the shrimp fried rice was hard and burnt she advised that her manager wasnt in (leaving me with the impression that nothing could be done til her manager came back)....so i asked what is your protocol in the absence of your manager ....she advice she would take my name and number and he would call back. ...needless to say, he never did ....so i held onto foid didnt touch and waited received no call.we verified i came and paid for food and call bck to say order wasn't right (worker verified that) and owner still refused to refund or replace food ...i advise and gv business card reassuring that I was a business owner and know that people will try to take advantage. ..he listened to none of that ...so the moral of this i would not advise anyone to do business with that American deli this was my fiirst experience their and it seems as though they can give you garbage and no matter how professional or what you bring to prove your purchase even after waiting 30 minutes for the worker that served me that day to come in to work the owner was still not willing to adhere he was nasty, rude and not professional at all and maybe because he is not american (not to be rude or prejudice )he has not been educated on professionalism and how to handle and maintain customers maybe this is the reason of his actions but please don't spend your hard earned money there because if your order is not right. ..you just lost out your money........... Let me say as a business owner that I dont usually right bad reviews to hurt anyone's business because all make mistakes and have bad days but I expect more from a manager /owner and i woek really hard for my money and don't have it to give or throw away ...and im certain everyone who woeks gard for theres would agree............ Read moreThis place should be 0 stars. The cashier with her hair all over her head is extremely unprofessional. The owner is unprofessional. The cooks were even rude and unprofessional. My philly cheesesteak that I ordered was burnt and tasted greasy. I asked for it to be re-made, but decided that I just wanted my money back. This obviously escalated to a problem very quickly. Apparently I'm just supposed to take whatever junk prepared because its a problem to make it properly. Regarding my refund the cashier told me that she was going to get her manager....I waited and asked where was he, she said "he has to come from the other American Deli." This was unacceptable. How don't you know how to do a refund? Why aren't you properly trained and why should I have to wait for your manager due to you alls negligence. I was on my lunch break so I couldn't wait. I asked how long it would take she shrugged her shoulders and proceeded to say something under her breath. At this point I was avid. How is this how you treat a paying customer? How is this how you treat anyone? Long story short I will never go to another American Deli ever again nor recommend this place. Also the cooks go outside with their aprons on and do not wear hair nets while cooking. Also there is a sign saying that after 10 wings there is a cost for all flats or all drums yet I was charged for this. When I informed them what their sign stated "I was told that they didn't know why their sign stated that." I can't waste much time talking about this place. Its your money, make a better choice...
Read moreI have eaten and one other American Deli, before this one, and was happy with the meal. However, this location in Newnan, was the exact opposite. My first clue that I was going to be disappointed, should have been how filthy the walls and ceiling were. The ordering counter had these dirty plexiglass screens left over from the COVID days. the place and the employees had this depressed look about them. I ordered the 3pc Tilapia Meal. The fish smelled rotten. Also, I don't think it was Tilapia. I believe it MAY have been catfish. It just smelled too bad to eat and I wasn't going to eat it. I brought it back to the front counter and suggested that they may want to check to see that the fish is fresh as it smells bad. I couldn't eat it and threw it way in the trash. The employee didn't seem all too concerned. Not wanting to argue and ask for my money, I simply left in disgust. Unfortunately, I will not...
