Hooters — Restaurant in Newnan

My mother ordered family dinner for us last week spending $265 at this establishment. 100 wings were supposed to be lemon pepper but the amount of seasoning on the wings was so minimal that we actually ran to the grocery store to purchase some lemon pepper.

When we called to complain, that same day within the hour of picking them up, we were told our name would be written in their log book and we could have them remade whenever we needed. I tried to order them today and the GM informed me (through multiple calls) that he couldn’t replace them bc he didn’t have proof, which was never requested by the manager we spoke to, and that his district manager would get onto him for having a $140 loss and that I need to understand his side. Doesn’t matter that my senior mother spent $265.

In between one of our calls I called corporate to complain. After this I spoke to the manager again and informed him of my complaint to corporate. He then said he was going to offer 50 wings replacement but since I notified corporate he’d let them deal with it.

That’s the short version. Full disclosure, I did lose my cool and curse a few times at him at which point he hung up on me which was probably best. But not once did he seem apologetic or seem to understand our side. He even mentioned that his cooks assured him there was seasoning and that the steam from the container must’ve caused the seasoning to fall off the wings.

After calling the restaurant probably 10 times I’m posting this review they have terrible customer service I drove 25 miles to pickup my order from this store as they don’t deliver to my home. They sealed my bag so I was unable to check my order as well but I have been visiting this place often so I trusted them but the order was totally incorrect my wings were dry, they missed all the condiments that they charged me for. The fries seem like they were made days ago and kept open to dry no one can even chew it which went straight to the dustbin. This is not expected from a reputable restaurant chain. There should be an option to check the order. Why the hell they have a phone number when they do not answer. My over $40 dollars and 1 and half hour drive time went to waste and now I need to cook dinner as I received disgusting food that...

I have came to this Hooters many times with friends and family, first time I had been in the last 2 years and without a shadow of doubt, it was the worst service I have EVER received at any restaurant I have ever been too.My wife, son, and I were seated down fairly quickly when we got there and then after 20 mins of just being completely ignored by the 4 waitresses we saw, they all looked right at us as they walked past to the back of the restaurant to have a meeting or something staring right at us as other people during this time were checked out and served food, we couldn’t even order a drink!!! It has been awhile since my last visit and now this will officially be my last visit to the Newnan Hooters…Douglasville has much nicer staff that has always taken care of us everytime, I guess I’ll just give them...
