Moved to the Atlanta area a year ago and this was one of our favorite meals here so far! All of our meals were delicious, great portion sizes, friendly service. The sweet potato fries are HUGE and so tasty! We can’t wait to go back! (Photos are from first visit) Update: I’m docking a star and adding an update after my second visit. Went on a Friday night and it was crowded but not overly slammed. We waited about 30 minutes for a table and didn’t get our food until 2 hrs later. I’m sensitive to the fact that restaurants are running on limited staffing right now but there were servers everywhere. Maybe kitchen staff was limited? Either way, 2 hours is a long time to wait for a couple burgers and some chicken fingers with 3 little kids in tow. Food was still good but I likely won’t visit again during the dinner rush. No apologies were offered either, our waitress seemed like everything was just fine.

This restaurant is always a great choice. The team is incredibly friendly, helpful and the food is just as good. The stars on the menu for us are the pretzel with beer cheese, bay burger with fries and the fish and chips. Depending on the day, you can expect live music and a full bar! So get there early if you’d like a seat!

Food is really good, but the service is hit or miss. They also have conch fritters which reminded me of trips to the Bahamas decades ago!

Let me start out by saying that our server, Makayla, was great and our drinks were comped, but we won't go back to The Bays. To start, the host seemed bothered to deal with people and she wouldn't tell us an approximate wait time. We waited an hour to be seated and then learned that our server had to cover most of the patio herself. She was so apologetic! We waited forever on appetizers and our meal. We requested the kids meal, chicken tenders and fries, to come out asap and it came out an hour later with the rest of the food. We learned they had 3 teenagers in the kitchen bc they didn't expect the Saturday night crowd??? Several parties left bc the wait was so bad. The Mahi tacos were small filets and tasted fishy. The fries were very salty, and the sweet potato fries were cold. The burgers were ok, but just typical burgers. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this experience warranted it. The social scene must be what keeps this place going bc waiting three hours for mediocre food is not bringing...

We went to eat at The Cellar on Friday August 13th. There was a live band playing jazz type music, really loud! We were seated just outside from where they were playing and we literally could not hear each other speak. It was so loud that my 11 year old asked the waitress for a papertowel to tear up and put in his ears. After that wasn't enough he got up and moved away completely. I asked the band, in between songs, if they could turn the speakers down, which they did a bit, but it was still like a concert in there. Not nice background noise.. Before we got our food we asked for to go boxes and took our $150 meal home in styrofoam!!! Very disappointed in management's ability to guage the setting in the restaurant. They apologized for how loud it was, but nothing changed on the bands end. The food was great considering we ate it at home:(. Which is why I didn't give this 1 star. Really disappointed in our dining experience. We...

Hey look, it's a restaurant with a separate bar! Oh no, it's all the same place and you have to put your name in for a table. So you get mixed in with the dinner crowd. I can understand maybe there is understaffing, but that shouldn't even be a problem if you are branding your bar separately. There MUST be a separate place to just walk in and be seated for the drinking area. Otherwise, lose 'The Bays' thing. Waiting to be seated and then waiting for the wait staff that are dealing with food orders is ridiculous. Also, it is laughable they serve an 'artisan cheese board' for $19 and it looks like a night run to Kroger to grab lunchables. The only reason I'm giving anything 2 stars is for general effort, ambiance, and the lady at the front desk was helpful and was really trying to be welcoming. She was grateful we even stayed long enough to be seated. It was busy, but come on, have a separate seating area...
